I have been drawing every day since the start of January this year. Fuck me it’s been difficult. I have drawn while I’m pissed off, drunk, sad, really don’t feel like it, and totally inspired and on the kind of rampage where you realise you’re still awake and it’s 4am and you have to get up for work in the morning. This is the last page of the first sketchbook.

Who doesn’t love their bed? And introducing Pants the elephant, the protector of my bed and night companion for the past 15 years. He’s originally from Vancouver and has been back with me there 5 times. In fact, he’s a pretty well travelled Elephant, only missing out on my adventures in Oz.

My Satchel and Docs. My Mum has wanted me to draw them for so long, just because it’s pretty much a given I’ve got one or both of these on at any one time, and have done for the past 7 years. Originally, my Dad chose the colour of my Docs, and my Mum bought me the satchel as a birthday gift. Since then, red has become my staple colour.

Doodling mandalas on watercolour. The middle one was using colours I associate with Australia. They’re all a little bit of an experiment on paper I buggered up with terrible watercolouring.
