Yay! He's done! I probably could've gone harder on the asymmetry, and I admit that neon yellow and green are such a pain to work around that I half gave up on his color palette, but he's here!
I've made character sheets before, but none of them have fleshed out the details like this, so it's rather cluttered, but I hope it's at least easy to read — I also increased the canvas size after finishing, so hopefully it isn't crunchy lol. Had a lot of fun with this, I hope everyone likes it! Also, forgot to note that the orange/blue at the ends of his hair and extremities is phlogiston that's leaking out! He's supposed to be a construct made from phlogiston, not flesh and blood. His build is also supposed to be basically Alhaitham's build, I just suck at drawing muscle lol

I put a little more effort into this one but I've never drawn bird Xiao before and I am laughing so hard. Probably should've used the symmetry tool, but I still only spent like 45 mins on this because I have to get the pride month drawing done before Venti's birthday! I like it much more than the last one because I actually bothered to try fixing proportions I thought looked weird lol

That I like more than my last one because, uh... the Venti was staring at me every time I turned on my phone and it was creepy.
Y'all're lucky this isn't the Archon Dvalin + Dead Venti piece I was considering lol. I had a quote for it and everything: "Death... is another form of freedom." but no, I had mercy.

Unexpectedly, Venti simply disappeared one day. A day passed, then two, then three. After a full week, much of Mondstadt was left concerned, and just as the adventurers prepared to go searching, Venti returned with a strange boy in tow.
The newly introduced Aurae was so clearly related to Venti, but all questions were dodged expertly by the bard's silver tongue. In the end, it was no trouble for Mondstadt to welcome the new friend with open arms, and many were pleased to claim winnings from various bets related to Venti's origins.
As the weeks passed, Aurae was found to be a respectable boy: well-read, kind, quiet, and a wonderful singer. Despite his surprisingly timid nature, he got on well with everyone he spoke to, and he never failed to lend a hand. There was only... one issue.
From the day he arrived in Mondstadt, Aurae never left Venti's side. If Venti was playing in the tavern, Aurae was there. If Venti was holding poetry lessons, Aurae was there. If Venti was seen trying to sneak away for privacy, Aurae was never far behind. No matter how much Aurae was enjoying himself, the moment Venti started to leave, he rushed to follow.
It became clear that Venti was greatly aggrieved by the constant companionship, but whenever anyone tried to intervene, Venti would stop them,

I saw 5.6 trailer, then I saw the prompt for BranOnline's art challenge, and I decided to go ham. And hey, I got a new wallpaper out of it! This is half endgame headcanon, half redesign. It was going to be a full redesign, then I tried to draw the halo braid with Istaroth's bangs and... yeah no, I'm better at Venti's canon hairstyle lol. And I wanted to draw a scythe.

Blame the Venti Brainrot Quarantine Server, we all have wispsonas now. And I needed a sidequest for my timelapse lol (oohhh sneak peak~).
Mine is super fluffy because it lives on Dragonspine, and it sleeps anywhere and everywhere (is it just coincidence that they frequently end up in Albedo's flasks or random adventurers' bowls and bags? Only the wisp knows 😊) (it's favorite liquid to sleep in is liquid nitrogen XD)

Figured I'd draw something to celebrate getting C6 Venti (and R1 Elegy for Faruzan), I've been exhausted because it's nearing the end of the semester, so it's project after essay after exam, so I probably won't be able to get a full piece out before their banner ends, so instead have my headcanon Venti Eyes. These are the eyes they get at like the end of the game after they power up/fuse with Istaroth/reveal their true power. And yes, I imagine they do tell time accurately lol. Are these a lead up to my redesign? Yes, if it ever gets finished XD
In other news, I learned that my obsession with glow effects has made it almost impossible to shade when they aren't present, so that's fun.

I think this is the most fun I've ever had with a rough draft, but MAN is the face gonna be hard to actually render and draw lol. Oh god, the BOW is gonna suck too, that thing has two extra strings and idk what I'm gonna do. Might actually make him shoot only one arrow because three is so hard to draw man. I'm gonna have to tweak it a lot because I haven't shot in forever and I'm pretty sure the hand placement is wrong. Not helped by the Skyward Harp having so LITTLE space to work with, I actually EXTENDED the grip to have more shelf space to work with and it's still too little!
Edit: Oh my god I think i drew the bow upside down 💀💀💀💀 hand and arrow placement actually isn't horrible, I just checked.
And yeah, this is yet ANOTHER redesign for Venti's archon outfit, purely so I don't have to draw toes. And also because I want Venti to show a little more skin, sue me lol. The chest marking is too cool to be obscured by a giant target!
May or may not end up actually animating it because it requires me to make a crap ton of separate files in autodesk sketchbook and edit them together using InShot, but it was definitely a fun way to waste... six hours. This is one minute of a three and a half minute song btw. Probably not the best first animatic, but whatever, my venti dedication knows no bounds. I got started on the rest but quickly decided that waking up at one am means i am entitled to a nap. I'm going to sleep, the rest is future me's problem lol. To be fair, a good chunk of that time was spent figuring out a premise that kinda matched the lyrics, since the german translation is a little different than the english I was used to, but I think I've got a plan. my google doc is proof.

Drew this for a school project. The project isn't due until May, but I had fun with it!
