Wrenn isn't waking up even though his core has been returned to him. Durin starts to get desperate. --- A "What if" scenario that takes place at the tail end of "Song of the Welkin Moon Act VIII: True Moon" where Wanderer's core is returned to him.

"He had trusted Wrenn would come back to them—but now, doubt coiled around Durin's heart. It told him that the person he loved most was about to live no more, that he was a naive fool for trusting that everything would be okay. It wasn't—Sandrone had sacrificed her life already—and now, Wrenn may very well join her in the body count."

When the World Ends.

So… Have you ever heard of the Samsara Theory?

I have a fun take on it for Venti.

I don’t know how popular it’s become, but it’s the theory that the whole world of Teyvat exists on a repeating Time Loop, similarly to the Samsara that happened in the Sumeru Archon Quest.

Because of Venti’s connections to the Shade of Time, Istaroth, he is able to remember each loop—but he cannot remember why or how the loops started. He doesn’t even know why they are happening, and he feels trapped within the never-ending Samsara.

Unbeknownst to him, he’s the one causing it.

The idea is that Venti’s memories of loops are recorded deep within Irminsul—so when Irminsul dies, it cannot record any memories he makes beyond that point. This is why he doesn’t remember that he’s the one causing the Samsara, because he only activates his time magic when the world meets its devastating end.

This is a depiction of that moment—of Venti about to rewind time upon seeing the end of the world.

This is by far my best art piece yet I think—I’m so proud of it that I felt the need to make a noticeable signature, something I don’t actually do all that often. This is also the first full art piece done on my ipad!

This art was heavily inspired by the fan animation “Genshin 4th Anniversary: Unawakened Dream- CN Birthday Party Animation” by “Hamelin”.

This song also invokes the feelings of this art piece!

Anyway, I think maybe I’ve come to accept that I am a slow artist. That I don’t need to be fast. I just enjoy making pretty art. That’s worth something, you know?

Analysis on Durin: A Not So Baby Dragon

Hello everyone.

I have been mulling over this analysis for a while now, and finally, I have decided to make it—a definitive and coherent explanation regarding Durin's general age and the writer's intentions for his age within the story of Genshin Impact.

This analysis was created as a response to the rather heated discussion on whether or not Durin is intended to be a minor, or is "minor coded"—and the answer I have come to find is that, within the narrative of the game itself and even legally speaking, Durin must be considered over the age of 18 by the developers and writers of the game, and was written with those intentions.

There will be two main sections of this analysis: the first being the definitive, legal side regarding Chinese law and how the law mandates media handle certain subjects within fiction, followed by a more comprehensive analysis of the narrative itself.
