Is it acceptable that I do shave my legs only because it’s easier to put lotion on my legs when they aren’t too hairy and I do like the feeling of smooth skin when I finish up with it.

I also only really do it once or twice a month so sometimes I do go out in public with hairy legs.

i like dogs too like i rlly love animals but it is so annoying how practically no one trains their dogs and they have some of the most grating whining sounds whenever they get like any kind of redirection or discipline and then they all bark at like a million decibels like stoppppp stoppppppp it oh god it is so annoying trying to talk to my patients who r hard of hearing with the constant barking and freaking out and the family is like :) fido is soooo excited to see new people isnt he cute! What sea creature would you most want to be able to fly through the sky?

the knee jerk reaction is probably something like whales. or giant squids. but if i sit and puzzle over what would create the strangest changes, maybe corals? coral reefs? big floating islands of living stone in the sky sounds like a good way to create some fascinating ecological niches.

not some from whence this question came but it was fun and i appreciated being asked :)

I’d expect so. you gotta have living coral to fly probablotherwise it’s just stone #if so that’s gonna be a Strange ecosystem #bc I was initially thinking oh I wonder if that turns into like cloud forests. bc altitude and full sun and clouds (it was mostly bc clouds)#but trees would block the coral. and we might have something like that with very quick succession but if we have a REEF it’s been around #bc coral slooooow growing.#what DOES this look like. bc coral also has to eat for a lot of nutrients bc photosynthesis is fucky for them.#bc they’re animals it’s actually their little algae friends but if the algae photosynthesises too good it starts to kill the coral #(produces oxygen radicals I think? burns em up so they expel the algae which is what bleaching is)#do we get weird coral that eats bugs? there’s not enough microparticles in the air. maybe they’re more tolerant to bleaching. probably that #birds would love sky coral. you’d get such weird versions of birds that live up there and strip the coral and are resistant to the toxins #migration routes would be insane if the reefs move because you KNOW some of those birds are doing philopatry for that specific moving reef #you probably would also get moss. lichen for sure. uncertain about any tracheophytes that can grow quickly #maybe you end up with weird cnidarian allelopathy where the coral suppresses their growth #I bet they could do it. I wanna see how fucked up the cnidophores get. bc its gonna just be secretion but they have built in toxin apparatus #so maybe some grasses. a fern or two. maybe some like slow growing cover plants like tundra. or oh man the rainforest epiphytes. ORCHIDS #there are gonna be so many coral orchids #anyway if there are coral plants there are coral insects. there are also 1000% coral ants. ants would LOVE #coral I bet we get a couple myrmecophyte situations where they defend it from other herbivores. Hrm. coral eaters. what’s that.#anthozoa. anthovores? I guess??? suspicious sounding word. anyway. I wanna see the coral birds. they’re 100%gonna be seabird nesting grounds #but they also definitely have specialist birds. I don’t know what that looks like but probably weird finch things.#I bet they’d get super fluffy to avoid skin contact with the stingers. I don’t actually know how coral herbivores work in the ocean #anyway this was super fun I’m gonna stop now but mr babylon your mind is so beautiful #oh my god you’d start getting soil if plants on the sky reefs. fuck. what does that MEAN okay I’m done I swear
