Here’s the blood harvest, folks.
I am so disappointed that The Family was cancelled. This is one of the reasons why I don’t want much TV. Everything I like is always cancelled.

If I haven’t expressed how excited I am about Dan Stevens being the Beast, then let me re-stress my excitement now. **aaahhhh those eyes** I love the soft Dan Stevens...the firm and toned Dan Stevens...clean shaven...bearded. He will always be my Matthew Crawly, but I’m so glad he will be the Beast! :)
Cameron Jace’s Insanity Review
So, today as promised, we talk about Cameron Jace’s book Insanity (Book 1)
So let us start with the “blurb” from Goodreads.com

...Most people who knows me know that I love a good fairy tale retelling...especially an Alice in Wonderland story...It’s a small addiction that at times can spiral out of control!
So..needless to say I was excited when I first found this book. First of all, it was FREE!!!!

SOOOOO...Back to the madness!
Overall, I enjoyed this book.
Pros:
ALICE. Yes, I actually liked this Alice. Sometimes during re-tellings, I’m not overly thrilled about the Alice character. For example, Alyssa in the Unhinged series...she can be a tad bit annoying. However, THIS Alice, *love her*! She is fiesty and charming and bat sh*t crazy...or is she?
Pillar: A very Hannibal Lector type character. I mean this in a good way. I’m one of the few people who saw the movie “Hannibal” and thought that he was romantic when she found the pair of shoes she was admiring left for her by him. So, Pillar reminded me a LOT of him, as a matter of fact, it is how I imagined him while reading... VERY intriguing!
The guessing game: Is she crazy? Is she not? Is she the REAL Alice? Is she not? The not knowing became the biggest part of the book for me and I enjoyed not knowing!
The White Queen: Can we say...”Bad ass?” Imagine THIS Anne Hathaway as the White Queen....*points down to picture* Ok, so it is not exactly how she was described in the book, no guns or anything and Lord knows she wasn’t wearing that...but, you get it, right?
CONS: I didn’t really care for the Cheshire’s story. BUT, it wasn’t enough for me to be turned off the book by any means.
Jack of Diamonds....Hm...Will save judgement based on other books in the future. But overall, not a HUGE fan, though I didn’t dislike him either. Yes, I get that may not make sense.
The book is EXTREMELY well written. The dialogue is well executed and the story moves a long at a fast pace. The imagery was so vivid that I could actually see it playing out like a mini-movie in my head.
This has been my favorite Alice retelling thus far and I recommend it if you are fan of re-tellings. I’m looking forward to reading the next one, except that I’ve moved onto something else for now, since it was not available on the Nook and I’m not as crazy about the Kindle App on my Nook. But I will get to it. In the meantime, I give this book:

Whether he is our beloved Matthew from Downton Abbey...A loving Edward Ferrars and Sense and Sensibility...even a complete creeper “David” in The Guest....Breaking our hearts as Gilbert in Summer in February....or as the upcoming tormented Beast in Beauty in the Beast....we love him! My man candy for Monday is Dan Stevens, who is simply adorable. Just an average looking guy with amazing piercing eyes. And let’s face it...this man has amazing hair!

Impatiently awaiting the final season of my beloved Downton Abbey by celebrating my favorite couples thus far on the show. How will I get by when this show is over? I’m still mourning the loss of Matthew....and Sybil. I will definitely mourn the loss of this show.
I recently found out that Lily James, who’s playing Cinderella in the upcoming Disney movie, initially auditioned for the role of an ugly stepsister. And idk why I find that oddly inspiring that you can see yourself as an ugly stepsister but the rest of the world will call you Cinderella
SO happy to finally be seeing this movie this weekend! Here is the wedding dress from Vanity Fair’s sneak peak. I love Lily James! I’m also thrilled to see another Downton Abbey girl “Daisy” in the movie!

Emma Watson Has Confirmed Dan Stevens Will Join Her In “Beauty And The Beast” And she also confirmed Luke Evans as villain Gaston. Harry Potter meets Downton Abbey meets The Hobbit and we couldn’t be happier.
Basically, Emma is our captain for this movie.

Man Candy Monday - Surprsingly, Tom Hanks!
I chose someone who makes me cry. An actor I love. Whether he is Forrest Gump, Woody from Toy Story, Walt Disney in Saving Mr. Banks...whether he is a gay lawyer fighting AIDS and injustice in Philadelphia, a prison guard in the Green Mile...or he is Sleepless in Seattle or Joe Fox (F-O-X) in You've Got Mail...or big kid in Big.
He makes me laugh...he makes me cry. I love all of his movies. Money Pit, the Burbs, Turner and Hooch, League of Their Own, Apollo 13, Davinci Code, Captain Phillips, Atlas Shrugged, etc. etc. etc.
He is beautiful. In a completely nontraditional kind of way...because he is just a nice guy. :) Today I choose Tom Hanks!
Woman Candy Wednesday - Ellen Page
She is adorable. Ellen Page stole our hearts in Juno and has now become a beautiful well spoken young woman with a lot to say and a heart of gold. Her acting is always spot on and I applaud her courage in coming out and speaking about depression.
