This is a poster for my debut feature-length film I produced called, 'Space Coast Confidential' and it's currently available on Amazon Video, YouTube Movies, and iTunes.
From the time I wrote the first iteration of the script, I knew I wanted to do a near 100% practical effects movie. Though originally it was supposed to be more horror/sci-fi before the rewrites, safe for a few typical simple filters, I kept to the 100% goal. Even the artist who did this poster, Jozef Boža, was part of that very idea too.
I'm proud that I made it on a microbudget, but there's a few things I wish went better. One of which concerns one of the character's lines. Part of it was my fault as I didn't catch it on the rewrite, and it was origianlly written when AI wasn't seen AS big of a threat as it is now, but even when I tried to make the change in wording on the older script the actors recieved from the director, it STILL made it into the film. The line was SUPPOSED to say the threat to humanity "wasn't necessarily AI" NOT that it was "not AI", which changes the meaning of that simple statement. Granted, the main threats of the story are not artificial, but it still irks as I think about it to this day.
Hopefully, if I make enough off this film, I can use what I learned for my next project and continue to carry on the heavy usage of practical effects.
