Insane to me that disabled people will say: "Hey, your glorified idea of revolution is going to get us killed" and then be treated as collateral damage or a necessary sacrifice. Like, yeah, the systems in place now are oppressive and literally based on eugenics, but a Revolution™️is not going to save us. How are we supposed to trust you (abled people) to put good systems in place if you're ready to kill us to get rid of the old one. That's not saving people. Treating disabled people as if they're ridiculous for not wanting to die and pointing out how bad a revolution would be for us is insane. You're actually a horrible person if you do this.
I don't know, folks, I'm just so fucking tired of us disabled people either being ignored or told to shut up. We're treated as worthless and expendable. I'm not dying for your Great Revolution™️. I need my meds.
This is what I said! A revolution needs to save everyone or we save no one. Lives aren’t expendable.
‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ trust me, if white people know you aren't safe to be racist around, we'll notice! Your ACTIONS will speak for you!

Well put. (Source: Writing About Writing Facebook page)
as a lawyer who’s been practicing for six years now I can say with certainty that this 100% applies to lawyers

The thing about Harry Potter is it just makes me fucking tired?
I don't especially give a shit if somebody is reading the books or watching the movies in private, but if you're being loudly, stridently, openly fannish about it you've got to be aware at this stage of things how that's perceived? At the bare minimum, being perceived as transphobic wasn't a deal breaker.
A doll forum I frequent is discussing whether or not to ban pictures of Harry Potter merch, and wow do I recognize a lot of the people going "Um, nobody cares about politics actually, sweetie" "Why does everything have to be political?" as having said some virulently transphobic shit elsewhere.
Someone asked me ":( So you want to DIVIDE people?"
Yes. You can't UwU Let's All Get Along about whether or not a given group of people should have human rights.

This has been my main argument against "AI" from the very beginning.
OpenAI scraped the entire web. All of which had been a labor of love from humans. Wikipedia is the backbone of a lot of LLMs, and that was volunteer human labor. They stole it and now they're selling it back to us.
And worse, they're trying to destroy the free sources that they stole from. It's destruction of human knowledge on an unprecedented scale. The burning of the library of Alexandria has nothing on this.
