MY BARTYBELLA. i was cooking dinner the other day and I was like man. the best part of them to me is before they even get together when they are being insane about each other and are each other's favourite person. They are in a death eater meeting heads shooting up to look at each other when snape says something because they both know the other will laugh. They are sitting in the corner giggling to each other really obviously and then bella calls out "hey lucius we LOVE what youre doing with your hair" and theyre giggling to each other again in a way that everyone knows they are laughing about lucius' hair. they are fundamentally weird and mean! they suck! it's a good thing in my delusions (wolf children) they are seperated from the world because otherwise all the other death eaters would be SICK of them. they are friends.

they are each other's favourite person in the world because above everything else they have FUN with each other

this really made me think i had to discuss this and i think taking the 'tom was born evil' at face value. like i know this is a magic world but lets all be serious. thats not real. no one is born evil, people dont work like that

most if the characters i talk about i'll be real i would not date them i am doing science here im dissecting and analysing and inventing. however yeah id do a 2 month situationship w andromeda

24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?

HMMMMMMM. this is really hard because rod to me is such a singular character. if anyone had to be him i can see johan from the anime monster. my sweeties.

27. What is a color or colors that you think of when you think of this character, be it their canon color(s) or not?

LIME GREEN. rabastan is so so so fun to me i love him i think he would really enjoy this.

i was having Thoughts about meda (as per usual) and went down the path of what if she'd stayed? who would she marry? would she choose or would it be arranged? would she have kids? would she have an affair with ted? (or did she ever even meet him?) i was considering either rabastan or lucius for her betrothed, but also the thought of a nott is compelling (even xenophilius as lucius' older brother crossed my mind...)

okay okay so venus and i have been cooking up an andromeda characterisation where. actually i will make seperate posts about andromeda i will make a moodboard. BUT ANYWAY. i truly think if she had stayed, she would have just killed herself. a bleak answer but i think her running away if such an inevitability that ted was just an excuse, even if she never met him, even if he didn't exist she would run away. she would never marry OR have kids because the thought of living a life like her mother's would fill her with such horror and dread she would never make it to the altar.

Andromeda in slow fashion!! Andromeda working as a shopgirl after running away wearing a lot of vintage scarves and thrifted caps and coats she doesn't care if its slouchy it makes her practically unrecognisable, she cuts off her hair and she's making a life for herself!! there's a lot of care and consideration in slow fashion that i think andromeda would like, she invests herself into small things like this and finds a lot of fulfilment in it

4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?

i want to see her in succession. which is just like a muggle au i know, but i think bella bases a lot of her self worth on magic and i think it would be interesting to see her as part of the roys because that has very similar implications as being part of the house of black and she has to scheme her way to achieving what she wants without relying on magic. i think she could develop some nteresting complexes.

8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?

can i come out as a bellamort hater. i think its the most boring reading of their relationship. yes she is in love with him absolutely but the moment you make it requited and put them together in a joker and harley-quinn way I'm like listen. take your ass back to booktok dark romances. this is MY playground, and you're not even going to talk about how this man 50 years older than her, groomed her into the death eaters? ok. ok. also when they reduce her to like insane edgy goth girl stereotype im like WHERES THE INTERIORITY. i get mad. she's a real girl to me half the things they invent about her im like she would not do that.

20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?

sirius black:) sirius bella growing up as best friends makes me sooooo crazy insane. as an adult though im partial to RABASTAN. they are sillyyyyyyy they are besties they laugh together they love each other and support each other in a way thats so heartening. i think for all her standoffishness Bella laughs a lot and tends to make friends easily. i feel so protective of her i hope she grows up to have a life full of love guys.

most recently its been Lady Mary from Downton because i watched all of downton a couple of months back and i was like wait..... WAIT. the black sisters potential of this.

i cant remember what my first impression was but ive always been fond of bella. scary female villain LITERALLY always my type. and now she's my most favourite girl ever.

hiiiii my love!! this is really hard i thought everyone would be like BELLAAAA but i will really consider this 6. What's something you have in common with this character?

doing ket in the middle of the club because a stranger offered me a bump. can i say that here. I think bcj has a certain level of "what the hell, sure" that I share with him. Like half the things I do, I do because it sounds fun, and I'm in.

9. Could you be roommates with this character? I don't think so. At home, I need my quiet time where I'm not a person and having to interact with people and be 'on' 24/7 drives me to despair. i think bcj is the type of roommate to be having loud sex at like 2 am when you're about to fall asleep and i would genuinely get murderous. he facetimes his mom in the living room and now all my friends are invested in how his mom has taken up gardening to deal with the restlessness she feels in her marriage (I'm gossiping with my friends about his mom yes). He watches TikToks with no earphones in, and he's leaving his ties or coats on the couch, which drives me nuts. he's grown up with his mom and a house elf, like he's used to people cleaning up after him. The final straw comes when I come home from work and find out he's hooked up with my best friend on my couch, and I lose it and start killing because I've just steamed that couch the week before to get rid of the crumbs.
