The more I read/watch it, the more I really love the whole I don’t sleep with everyone I have feelings for/I don’t have feelings for everyone I sleep with, as damning as it was.

Buck is telling Tommy he is in tune with what he feels and for who and what those feelings mean.

He’s been around the block a time or two, had various friendships, liaisons, trists, friendships, coworkers, and romances. Some have been fleeting, some busted, some bloomed into family.

He’s saying that despite Tommy being his first relationship with a man, he’s had enough relationships to know when he just wants to fuck somebody, when he doesn’t, and when he wants it to be something more.

He’s reminding Tommy to stop assuming or telling him what his feelings are.

He’s telling him that he’s not confused about what he feels for Eddie

Honestly really cute that they couldn’t wait to get back with each other, like this wasn’t just a hookup this was months of longing being consummated and it shows when Buck finds out Tommy’s been going through the same thing he has and immediately decides it’s going down. The fact Tommy had whatever wild sex is implied by wall slamming and rugs falling and being tugged by the shirt and still woke up early to go to the corner store and make breakfast. Buck’s smile when Tommy says “well why not?” After Buck offers him the out. The way the stars are shining in both their eyes until Tommy puts his foot in his mouth. Tommy subtly saying he’s not ready to move in, implying he might be one day.
