Danny Phantom and Transformers crossover where Sam wreaks havoc
I've had an idea for a crossover where the transformers side of things is basically G1 shenanigans with the cons stealing energy and failing to understand that breaking the generators open is not how you get the energy out.
They hit a green energy plant, and some jerks in positions of power are making things difficult in getting it running again.
Sam is pissed off and decides to harass some giant evil robots about it. Most of the weapons she has access to are designed for use on ghosts, but many of them will also work on physical matter.
Danny and Tucker tag along to make sure she doesn't get killed, and also because messing with giant robots sounds more fun than most of her other environmentalist activities. Danny doesn't need a reason to check out a spaceship, and Tucker is so down to play around with alien tech. They set up camp in the crawl space of The Nemesis.
For funsies, I'm going to say that the classic horror trope of ghostly activity causing electronics to glitch and experience interference applies to cybertronians (at least when it's funny).
The Decepticons are suddenly living in a horror movie. There is strange activity on their computer system. Strange noises sound from inside the walls. The lights flicker. Their vision and hearing go strange at times.
A small and angry creature occaisionally emerges from the vents and maintenance tunnels of the nemesis, and it is out for blood energon.
It sabotages things and uses energy blasts and explosives that have strange effects on their systems. They cannot trust their senses when it is active. Their base of operations is no longer safe, and all they can do is keep their guard up and flee the areas where it is active.
They can hear it skittering around in the dark, but sending something in after it has been deemed a no go the drones are as likely to be turned against them as they are to simply stop working, and Soundwave refuses to allow any of his cassettes to leave his line of sight after Frenzy was thoroughly traumatized and barely made it back. He hasn't spoken since. Not even to Rumble.
It's only one human, and a small one at that. You'd think they could just kill it and be done with the whole thing, but apparently females of the species can call disembodied sparks back from the well when threatened and human sparks are a thousand times more dangerous when freed from their delicate organic prisons.
The Decepticons had previously assumed that all species where like Cybertronians, having systems to protect delicate sparks from the outside world, but no, human sparks are apparently contained to protect the world from them!
How many nightmares from the unmaker might they have unknowingly unleashed in their careless attacks?
Basically, Sam is a gremlin, Tucker and Danny are along for the ride, and all of them are having fun hanging out in an alien spaceship and terrorizing the terrors.
The Decepticons are becoming paranoid and neurotic.
They freak the fuck out the next time one of the Autobots' human companions runs into danger on a mission. The reckless tendencies take on such a different and more sinister tone when you take into account that human sparks are more dangerous without their frames.
