DracoMalfoy was easily the most popular, not well liked but popular of the Slytherin’s.The Raven claw’s and Hufflepuff’s had their most popular and Gryffindor hadyou. The most popular student in each house didn’t directly correlate to the headboy or girl, except in Ravenclaw’s case, but it was the person most well-known,that people liked to know or impress.
You werethe most popular Gryffindor and very well liked, the teachers liked you and yougot your ‘fame’ by convincing teachers to up the class average and increasingthe number of trips to Hogsmead by coming up with very educational reasons thatMcGonagall couldn’t deny.
Draco hasbecome the most popular in Slytherin out of fear mostly, people wanted to treathim nicer as to stay out of his path and because of the ties his family hadwith Voldemort, not the best reasons really.
When anissue arose between Slytherin and Gryffindor, where Harry was nowhere insightas he loved to challenge Draco, you stood up and stood your ground arguing onbehalf of your house. This was your first direct interaction with Draco, theway you yelled and your impressive vocabulary caught his attention reallyquick.
“Gryffindor’sare allowed to use this area, according to the Hogwarts rules its publicspace.” You said confidently. “So if you could kindly fuck off and get yournoses out of our asses we would be very grateful.” You argued
“Our nosesare not in your asses, that’s absurd.” Draco countered.
“Well youall walk around with your noses held so high you would think they would be safe,but here we are!” You insulted making fun of the way Slytherin’s sometimesacted like they were better and stuck up, especially Draco.
“Are yousuggesting we are arrogant?” He asked a playful smirk on his face.
“I wassuggesting your full of yourself but I guess that’s a better word.” You saidcrossing your arms.
Dracosmiled, he really did like your attitude and the way you held yourself. “Fine.”He said.
“Fine?That’s it? Fine!” You dropped your arms to your sides.
“Yeah, thespace is public use you proved your point.” He said shrugging his shoulder likethis was so normally easy.
“No ‘myfather will hear about this’ no ‘threats’ just fine?” You were beyond confusedat the simplicity.
“yeah, Ilike you.” He said a little too cocky, like you had received an award of thehighest prestige by gaining his admiration.
“oh well,your cool too… I guess.” You said back to him, making him smile at your weirdcompliment.
It didn’ttake long after that for the two of you to become the best duo in Hogwarts. Youcombined your skills and there was nothing that could get in your way, you letit get to your heads a bit sometimes but managed to keep each other level.
You guyshit it off right away too, within in a week he asked you out, you said no but thesecond time you agreed. You guys were really intense, you walked down a hallhand in hand and every eye watched you in awe at how you seemed to create yourown little bubble, oblivious to the rest.
You reallytamed Draco down a bit too, made him a better person, you made him want to bebetter. There were people that weren’t happy about it, judging the two of youfor the way you were.
“They areso cute, their love is kind of …beautiful.” Hermione said to Ron and Harry asthey watched the two of you walk down the hall.
“I don’t thinktheir ‘love’ is the beautiful kind.” Harry said distastefully.
“Yeah morelike the crazy kind, maybe even scary.” Ron said quieter than the other two scaredof you hearing his remark.
