Wormwood (tiefling; cleric) 

Stricken by a flesh-eating disease at her prime, this tiefling is a ruined woman with a death wish, unshakable and unfeeling. Though considered elderly by tiefling standards, the years have instead sharpened her wit and instinct, rather than dulling them. She draws strength, experience, and wisdom from her life of trauma, a seasoned veteran in the art of survival. She has spent the decades searching for a means to quiet the vicious disease, though unsuccessful so far in her quest. However, accumulation of knowledge and medical research gained throughout the years has allowed her to become a master healer. She has abandoned the mad determination of the search now, unable to sustain it in her old age. Spirits and liquor are her vice, as they help soften the unrelenting pain of the disease, at least for the moment. At every town or village, she passes through the local pub or alehouse, should it be allowed. Hence, she was given the moniker of one of the spirits she coveted with such desperate fervor.
