i feel it's worth remembering that the primary and most pervasive distributors of CSAM are parents. It is parents. It is not strangers, it is not extended family (though it is close in frequency) it is Parents. Strangers are significantly less likely to have the access/power/positionality to abuse a child. There is a power structure inherent to the Child and the Parent that enables and encourages exploitation and control on all levels. Harassing childless strangers is, statistically, materially, ideologically, pointless and serves only to obfuscate the majority of child abuse. It's Parents. The most likely to abuse children outside of CSAM distribution is also parents. There is a massive ideological inconsistency and failure in focusing your efforts to "protect children/victims" when you refuse to understand this. When you target strangers, particularly marginalized strangers, you are fundamentally failing in your goals and hurting people and particularly hurting the actual goal of youth safety and abuse prevention. You cannot claim to care about youth safety while adamantly and single-mindedly focusing your ""action"" on trans, queer, disabled, mentally ill strangers who are in fact the most likely to Experience abuse rather than perpetrate it. You know this, you do not care, you are fueled by disgust and self centered righteousness. You are not safe for youth or victims if you cannot accept this.
