more like YOU’RE A FUCKING GENIUS YES OF COURSE I WILL OBLIGE obligatory headcanon notes: -Lin is team captain of the Flying Boars but is unsatisfied with their victories. she feels like there’s something more important she should be doing than playing games. -“Honora” joined because she was bored. she had her uniform tailored. -Kya is having a fucking blast and loves the attention. -Aang, Tenzin, Zuko and Sokka are nervous wrecks during matches. -Katara, Mai, Bumi and Toph know these girls are all badasses and are cheering the loudest. -there are no helmets or padding, other than elbow and knee pads. as Lin might say, “I can take a bit of water to the face.” -Kya invented probending and brought the team/tournament together for it. Toph invested in it, so they became the Flying Boars. -this is all my headcanon unless proven otherwise.

She didn't realize it, but that didn't say much. Honora was much better than her father though. She was a talented bender. Her teacher had used the word prodigy once and Zuko flipped. He would not allow that word used with his daughter.

Bumi couldn’t help but curl the right corner of his lips, realizing she wanted him to go find her.

"Is that how you want to play it? Okay then."

Bumi cracked his knuckles, did some very quick stretching, and scaled the wall and on to the roof.

"Hmm…she’s not in the garden…so she has to be somewhere nearby."

He quickly realized where she was, and lept off the roof to go find her.

The Fire Lord was a busy woman, what could she say? It wasn't really that difficult to find her, maybe he just liked to think she wasn't working. Or maybe he hoped. She couldn't read his mind. Honora was too busy trying to finish up her work so she could spend time with him. He was a bit of an attention stealer, sometimes on purpose she imagined and others...just by being himself. That was her experience. Then again the man you love would usually steal your attention.
