The main reason why I like Rabbot is that neither man is young. It is so rare to have a pairing where both characters are middle-aged. I get you people who like Whitaker. He is a sweetheart and pretty much a cinnamon roll but Jack is a man who has seen a lot, gone through a lot and still cares. Both Robby and Jack are damaged individuals who were forced to endure so much...they just fit.

This is more of a broad rant, but why in mlm fics, the bottom always have to be cutesy patootsie? Not saying that the bottoms shouldn't be cute or whatever. But if the characters are the types of be more macho, why do their personality have to be rewritten as a girl just because in that fic, they're a bottom?

I used to read Larry fics a lot, and I preferred reading bottom Louis, but there are times where I read top Louis. AND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THOSE TWO IS INSANE, YOU WOULD HAVE NEVER THOUGHT YOU'RE READING ABOUT THE SAME MAN. But, legit though. Bottom Louis is always written with wearing a skirt??? Not being a hater here, I'm sure that man could rock a skirt. But being overly feminine? Hm. Maybe, maybe not.

Another example is my current fixation. Max Verstappen. I read a lot of bottom Max fics, and in the past, I used to read a lot of top Max fics. Why is it for the bottom Max, he's softened? I genuinely think that top Max's personality could still be put on bottom Max, there's no need to girlfy him just cause he's the one doing the taking and not the giving.

Same goes with Charles too, actually. Bottom Charles is so different that I couldn't bear to read them. Cause, of course this is my own taste, I prefer reading fics that is at least accurate to the people's personalities. People babygirl Charles so much that it genuinely irks me. But I suppose I understand since he's a pretty guy.

Another thing I really hate for the mlm bottoms are the trans fics. No hate to the trans people, of course. But if they have taken the top surgery, why would they not have taken the bottom one too? I know that most of the times, the fics are written like that is for more, i suppose, "good" smut to be written. But like…why? There's no need to make the bottom trans or feminine. I stand by that.

Only time I haven't noticed people changing the character's personalities is with Hannigram. Cause no matter who's on the bottom, both of them are crazy, and we love it

However, if that is how you write your fics, you do you, man. I'm sure others find it good.

Just started watching The Pitt yesterday, and, no hate to Santos, but I kinda didn't like her, like, at all. She was on Langdon's ass in the first episode, and kept trying to find faults in him. Of course, in the end, what she did helped him, but it still pisses me off when she's acting as if he's killed her cat. And also, it pisses me off that she always jumps to conclusion about men. Understandably, that is due to her past, but, she just has it out for them

And I've seen talks in tiktok about how Robby is sexist, and I don't see it? Yeah, he's on Mohan's ass most of the time, but that's because she was being slow, no? He respects McKay, so I don't think that we can just throw around the word "sexism" to that man 'till i get a definitive proof. Also, I have started season 2, on episode 5. I don't generally think that Robby hates Al-Hashimi. I'd think that he probably doesn't want people to just waltz in to his place and change things up. He also said that he thought he had a little more time, so, in my head, he can't let go of the place. Which is why I don't think he hates her.

On that note, I heard some say that Mohabbot is going to be canon? And though I haven't gotten to that episode where Abbot and Mohan interacts intimately, I didn't think their actions constitues to them ending up as a couple? I mean, if the producers decided to make them a couple, it's whatever, it's not the first time a fandom doesn't agree to a canon couple. It's just a bit weird, you know? Personally, I am a Rabbot shipper, but even I know that there's a low possibility of that happening (looking at byler) so I am not holding my breath. I also heard thag Garcia and Santos might be canon. I can see that happening due to the first season. But, i don't know… Garcia seems attached to Langdon, and the fact that Santos keeps talking about him and trying to find faults about him probably doesn't sit right with her? But i am rooting for Mel and Langdon, though. They would be cute.

That being said…i also would not mind there being no couples. A show does not need romance to keep going, and I stand by that.

Is this a safe place to say I don't think I'll ever truly understand the Lestat frenzy every other person gets when watching/reading iwtv? (I mean, yes it is, it's my blog, don't like, don't read etcetc)

But like honestly, I watched Tom Cruise's Lestat back in my early teens and was like.. '-' sure? I guess? Read the first book and went "welp slave owner main character, not for me" and gave up the series. Saw the noise iwtv AMC was making online and thought "eh, maybe some other time". Nothing about Lestat has ever appealed to me, personally. (Louis' changes intrigued me tho)

Truthfully the only thing that has ever made me interested in iwtv was Devil's Minion. I only picked up the show after hearing about them, specifically. I cannot understand, for the life of me, what kind of drug-like addiction other people get from Lestat. Am I just too lesbian for this idk like that's just a man? Like does the fact that he's hot as fuck to ppl who like men basically dominates all of their reactions to him? I'm genuinely asking tbh. (I cannot for the life of me find him attractive I'm so sorry)

Don't get me wrong, now that I'm actually a fan of the story, I do enjoy his character's complexities and nuances and find him interesting and all. Just not enough that, if Armand and Daniel disappear from the show, I'll keep watching yk

I don’t understand how an Esteban fan can say they “miss” Alpine. They sabotaged his car. He had less people on his side of the garage than Pierre. They teamed him up with Pierre when he explicitly said he didn’t want that. They completely erased him last year like he was never even there even though he was the better half of their points and was a huge chunk of the reason they were so high in the WCC last season. They didn’t even give him a fucking send off. They didn’t allow him to race in Abu Dhabi last year because he wanted to test with Haas so they said you either choose us or them. They put a TRACKER in his company car and reprimanded him when they found out he was in talks with other teams last season, even though they wanted him gone anyway and his contract was expiring. After Monaco ‘24, Alpine did NOTHING to defend Esteban from the online abuse and DEATH THREATS he was receiving for a RACING INCIDENT that he took full blame for and then got even MORE abuse for defending himself. He apologized to THEM for a botched pit stop last year when it was THEIR fault because they told him to box and then there was no one in his garage ready for him, so he had to go through again. He apologized to them PROFUSELY (and continues to do so with Haas, I think that’s just the way he is) for things that he never needed to apologize for. More than half the time, he was apologizing for THEIR FUCKING MISTAKES!!! He went from “I’d rather die in the car than DNF” to “I don’t really enjoy driving anymore.” And yet, through ALL of that, Esteban NEVER had a bad thing to say about Alpine. He THANKED them. For WHAT?! They never gave him ANYTHING even though he gave them EVERYTHING.
