It really is funny how frequently I see people go "I miss the old alterhuman community, where people would have real discussions and make meaningful content. There were so many personal websites! Sometimes I can even hear their voice..."
We are literally right here. We do these things on tumblr daily. Half the people I follow on here have personal websites they update regularly. I'm in like 6 well-attended discord servers where all people do is share their experiences and have meaningful discussions. We didn't go anywhere, you've just apparently fallen victim to the convenience of The Algorithm and forgotten that old web spaces required you to seek them out on purpose and didn't endlessly churn out new content if you didn't contribute.
Sure the current trends on social media and prevailing internet social culture suck (and not just for alterhumans), but frankly on tumblr it's really easy to curate a feed of actually interesting alterhuman posts, and most of the old forum culture has simply moved to discord. The kind of community you supposedly miss so much still exists, it's just not what shows up first when you google "alterhuman". You just need to actually talk to people and find out where they hang out. Better yet, bring those kinds of discussions into public spaces so people can find them!

I genuinely hate the "evil Red Leader Tord!!!" arc for Tord.
They didn't have to do that to my guy!! He would NEVER do such a thing if you actually pay attention to the series before he left (and if you see things through my delusional eyes).
Like idk why the FUCK they decided to make him evil, but THEY HAD NO REASON TO!! I get it, it's cool to imagine a nice character coming back and being not nice, BUT THAT ISN'T TORD ANYMORE!! He's not this evil, apathetic being who doesn't care about his friends. That just feels wrong to me
If someone has an explanation as to why this "makes sense" without including WTFuture, I'LL GLADLY LISTEN. I DON'T SEE IT EVER HAPPENING IF WTFUTURE DIDN'T EXIST.

I made an rp, intending for my and my friends to do a generic zombie apocalypse in the EddsWorld universe.. until I decided to make it an au!!!
They're actually helping me work on this au!! I rp as my oc Felix, Tom, and Tord (who's a zombie rawr!!!!!), one of my friends is Edd, another is vampire Matt (they wanted Matt to be a vampire XD) and ANOTHER is an alien oc!
We're still working on the plot, but I know those two stupid rugrats get mauled by Edd and the gang for leaving Tord to die (said stupid rugrats are Patryk and the other guy, I don't care enough to find his name). Context for this one:
1, Tord hasn't interacted with anyone in weeks, so he's more sensitive to affection now.
2, Tord could care less about his lost eye. It doesn't bother him.. but what DOES is the thought of Edd being scared of him or weirded out, so he covers it with bandages.. Edd quickly found out, and comforted him about it.
Swiss changed a lot ever since Lightning was summoned. He's.. very different now. He's in a monogamous relationship, he's able to be the little spoon (which he loves), and he actually seems more happy with himself.
Cuz sometimes all a chaotic goober needs is a hug from the one who loves him most <3

I like to think of him as one guy who's usually available (for the freaky freaky), but when he's actually in love, he's completely monogamous and incredibly loyal to his partner.. which happens to be a blue haired anarchist with... Oh no... PRONOUNS!1!!1!!!!!1!11 (/j /silly). But in all seriousness ze is all of those things.

HELLO!!! I made a species and idk if it'll go anywhere other than my forgotten ideas (I forgor a lot)
I call it the arachnigrunt! They were supposed to be a giant monster that takes care of any trespassers by either scaring them to death or killing them itself...
But obviously something went wrong, they added chemical X like in the powerpuff girls or just too much spider DNA (the backstory is still a WIP) and they ended up little and harmless to anything that isn't spider food like flies and other small bugs.
In my most developed MadCom au, Tricky goes rogue and "works" on his own now (he mainly does silly stuff, not doing anything professional XD). He then has to team up with Hank and the other goobers to take down the Auditor because he's a meanie >:(

Late Spore Sunday, but here's a Bajadasaurus and a Pachycephalosaurus made in the Spore Creature Creator. These ones weren't played as save files due to being made as backup critters, but they were fun to make with the limitations present.
Regarding the speculative side for these paleoart Spore critters, I couldn't make proper frills for the Bajadasaurus, and therefore decided to take an easy route by giving it spikes. Meanwhile, the Pachycephalosaurus is depicted with speculative ceratopsian bristles because pachycephalosaurs are closer related to ceratopsians, so they may have had some shared speculative traits.
