Update on Sewing stuff~

I’m thinking of cosplaying either Elizabeth from 7 Deadly Sins or Hitagi Senjougahara from Bakemonogatari for May, but I’m not entirely sure who. I’ve yet to draw out the patterns on my yellow fabric for Pudding - Tokyo Mew Mew, but I’ve made some progress with my Homura - Madoka Series, the bust has been lined/hemmed and the base of the dress has been made. I just need to cut the middle of the dress and hem it as well as add straps. I’ve also been concentrating on making hats for LinCon, and my Ho-Oh Scarf and Kyuubey are at the top of the priority list! Also upcoming: Me on the topic of Race in cosplay. (Something thats super dear to my heart)

Sorry for all the hat spam, but I’m selling hats~ This link hat isn’t currently finished as I’m waiting for material to arrive to make the band, detaling, as well as an eyelet puncher + eyelets :3 I had an accountant friend tell me to price smaller hats (like Kitty Hats etc) as £11 and larger hats like Link’s Hat at £15. So I’ve been thinking, and I realized that it would be a perfect opportunity to cosplay Labelle from Animal Crossing (or alternatively Rarity from My Little Pony) for the upcoming convention where I’m selling hats~! So I present to you, a very quick and lazy cosplay of Labelle. I think if I were to do this, I’d probably get white tights and a nicer dress + gingham neck tie (as well as ears)

Sorry if it looks slightly lewd, I actually took this a long while back with my Sailor Moon - Usagi's wig, and thought I could do a really quick Toradora - Taiga cosplay (swim suit edition). If I had a bit more confidence I think I'd have asked someone to take pictures of me at a pool or something aha. Sorry for the cranky face as well I figured Taiga wouldn't be that happy either if someone took pictures xD

The first picture is what I have so far for Devil Homura, the wire hangers for her wings, some mesh fabric (claret and blue as well as purple and black), black velvet and lots and LOTS of ribbon! I also bought some polyester boning (and if you look at the bottom, there's the tights I mentioned in my previous post!) Hopefully I'll get started on this over the weekend. The last three are wips, though the middle one is progress of Madoka (Is it obvious I'm a huge fan of Madoka yet? xD) and the other two are wips of Yin - Darker than Black's dress that I actually posted a while back! I'm so excited to start Devil Homura and I'm a little sad that Madoka took a back seat to this ambitious project.
