I feel like I could very easily bullshit a transfem reading of Monsters Inc.
monster society values fear and intimidation -> Wazowski is actively emasculated for not being as "scary" as the other monsters (read: men) and has lesser job opportunities for it. Sully is drawn to more maternal impulses upon meeting Boo, Mike helps, and they're both banished for not adhering to a standard of unfeeling masculinity that's expected of them. Randall and Waternoose exist as enforcers of this masculine standard, and are made superfluous when society at large accepts a kinder way, where Mike thrives exactly because of the things that made him lesser under the previous system. in this reading I suppose Roz is a cis ally with the power to enact systemic change
