The plot of this movie is that all horror movies are real; there are monster attacks and hauntings and slasher massacres happening all over the world. But all of them are actually controlled by a secret organization, which keeps the world from ending by sacrificing human souls through these horror events.

Instead of a spooky cult they’re run like a banal corporate business and they sit around placing bets on the various monsters while they watch the events unfold, cracking dumb jokes, getting into nerd arguments with each other. This guy’s pissed because every single horror they’ve unleashed this time has been beaten by the humans and the bosses are gonna be real mad.
