Apparently the way I avoid editing existing stories is by starting new ones.

So here's three new stories for you all 🫡

Blackbird in the Pale Hollow - I wanted to write a younger protagonist. And it's been a while since I'm Really Not the Saviour! finished, so I felt like writing a new story with an mlm subplot. Finn and Lonan will definitely be an idiotic couple... when they finally get to it.

In something of a reverse Journey to the West, Finn and his team will be headed east to prove his father was lying when he said he'd been to a whole bunch of exotic destinations. All I can say to them is: 'Good luck'.

At the Water's Edge is coming to an end

After two years, I've finally (almost) reached the end of this story. It was the first webnovel I started writing, and somehow I finished two other before this, but we made it!

This story was only very lightly edited, and I'm aware that there are typos and minor plots that need fixing, but I'll get to that in the re-write. For now, I'm just grateful and a little nostalgia that it's ending.

BUT

The Tales of the Jade Road have by no means ended. Other than two completed stories, I still have one more in progress that will be published online, plus four more WIPs sitting on my hard drive. The adventures will continue!

A website?

It's been a very long time since I fiddled with website/blog/strange little space on the internet design, so it's been interesting to jump back into the old Wordpress space.

A video popped up in my Youtube recommended feed today, the creator taking a jaunt through the indie web space, looking at blogs that still retained the Old Internet feel. Inspired, I decided to hide a little something to pay homage to that time in my website.

So here it is. There are still a few things that are under construction, but it's mostly done. Except for that secret little something. I think I might keep adding to that.
