⊱♛⊰;; “Tears,” Koda started, speaking in the most confident voice she could manage, “th-they don’t suit you.” She didn’t mean to intrude, but the urge to say something was overwhelming. Keeping her distance from the stranger, she continued to talk, waiting to be pushed away.

"I bet a smile would look better."

She could try to invade his mind, or offer some words of wisdom, but what felt most appropriate was comfort.

          He nearly jumped out of his skin as an unfamiliar female voice caught his ears. His head shot up nervously, coffee brown optics meeting with unfamiliar ones. He felt as if his heart had skipped a beat as the realization of her words struck into his mind. He was crying. Crying in front of a girl. Biting back an embarrassing squeak of surprise, he quickly lowered his head again, hiding his face in his arm to wipe away the tears.

              "S-Shit--" He cursed, trying to get a hold of himself, "W-What are you--? When did--? Ugh, what do you want...?!" Normally he would have sounded more threatening and angry, but it was hard to sound scary when you were just at your most fragile state of mind.
