“Big Trouble in Little China” is a conglomeration of every Asian stereotype found in Hollywood with a touch of subversion to remind the audience that nothing that happens is supposed to be taken seriously.
“The Lobster” (2016) is a dark, twisted social satire on romantic relationships, set in a universe where it is illegal for a person to be single (a “loner”).
