Anne of Green Gables
Hey, just wanted to let you know that the outfit you chose is not typical of a atrict Jewish household. The skirt should be at least mid calf if not ankle and the sleeves should be three quarter length. Thanks!
Thank you, but I’m well aware of what the rules of tznius are (my parents are Orthodox.)
That being said, Leila is 25 in that picture and does not live at home, so she no longer lives under her parents’ rules. She’s doesn’t practice very strictly herself, so while she does typically dress modestly, she doesn’t follow what most would consider tznius.
Character profile: Leila Rose Monachopsis
[Leila has curly black hair, light skin, and dark brown eyes. She was born on February 14th, is 25 years old, and is 5 feet tall. She is asexual and biromantic. Leila grew up in isolation with very strict parents, having been homeschooled from 1st to 8th grade. Due to this, she developed severe social anxiety and never learned how to properly interact with others, causing her to come off as aloof and odd. However, she tries to be kind to everyone she meets. She sews and embroiders for fun, and has a strong interest in mushrooms. She is also Jewish.]

I don’t know if anyone really follows my art, but if you do, you may have noticed that I haven’t posted anything in...a while. I apologize for that. The reason is that I’ve been working on a webcomic. I will hopefully be posting it here, or at least the first few pages, once I have a decent amount of it done.
It’s been a slow project so far, as I’ve had to deal with bouts of depression and general life stuff, but I’ll hopefully be getting into a better flow soon. In the mean time, I do hope to post a few small things if only to get more active on here.
Thank you so much to those of you who follow this account. And again, I’m sorry it’s been so long.
Two new notebook designs on my Society6 store! I love both of them so much.
Psychological Curiosities - Phrenology is the belief that the size and shape of the cranium can determine a person’s personality and character. It has since been debunked and is now considered no more than pseudo-science, and a strange piece of medical history.
Hysterical Ramblings - Hysteria has a long and tangled history, though one trait it has always carried is that it is associated with women, particularly those that were considered unruly or disobedient, making it another oddly fascinating part of psychology's history.

My Therapist Told Me #1
Dear Tumblr users,
Please make a habit of reblogging things again!! I see so many content creators struggling to get noticed because their stuff only gets likes
Support your favorite artist, writer, gif maker, etc by sharing their work!! Maybe add a comment in the tags for extra good measure~
Please support small artists, it means the world to us
During our last appointment, my therapist began asking about my past relationships. She asked if I was attracted to men or women, and I was too afraid to ask if she knew what asexuality was. She’s always been very kind and accepting, but it still scares me. I’m considering bringing some printed resources about asexuality with me at our next appointment, but I’m not quite sure yet.
I started a Society6 store! My first design is something that I’ve been thinking on for a long while now. It is a bow with the words “Not Your Horror Trope” for those with Dissociative Identity Disorder (patchwork) and those of us on the Schizophrenia Spectrum (silver.) Each is available as a notebook, travel mug, sticker (shown above,) and phone case. There are also stickers of just the bow. Edit: the Schizophrenia bow was red, but has been changed after I learned that silver is more common
Also, if there is a mental illness that you feel is similarly villainized within the horror genre and would like me to make a design for it, please let me know!
Anyway. I hope you like them, and here is a link to my store should you wish to take a look! [From the Dollhouse]
I'm betting its the lack of any big schizophrenia advocate group. Anytime someone tries they seem to just choose a random color and its pretty weird.
Yeah, probably. Maybe if we just collectively use the same colors, it will at least be more recognizable.
Huh, interesting. I've seen purple be used the most commonly and recently. With Sz awareness day the color was purple for most people in the community on here. There really should be a unified color though.
I agree!
Just from Googling “schizophrenia ribbon color” I’m seeing mostly silver, so I think I might change it to that for the design. I could have sworn that when I did this before, I saw a lot of orange? But, that could have just been my brain doing weird stuff.
