American Sign Language Resources
Being reblogged (rather than just sent to @technomancer98) for all my followers because I really think this is a good idea for all the reasons above.
(These sites are only aimed at American Sign Language, because I am American and that is what I’m learning. If you are not American, I’d suggest learning the sign language of your own country. But, hey, you can do whatever you want, no one’s stopping you.)

Really great website if you want to learn. Very thorough. Pretty much anything you could ever possibly need. Breaks everything up into lessons, objectives, vocabulary… etc.

Geared for a very wide family-friendly audience (and, thus slightly boring), this website has a ton of videos of good, clear sign language being used along with the words either spoken or written out on the screen, so you know what is being said. Good for learning to read other people signing, bad for quizzing yourself.

This site has a few video lessons that are probably useful if you like that sort of thing, but, to be honest, I get too bored too easily, so they never work for me.

Another lesson setup, but it only has the first 3 classes before you need to pay. Nevertheless, it has good content and is another good place to start, especially since 3 classes will actually get you pretty far.

Also, use YouTube. I don’t know of any specific channels, but there are a lot of deaf youtubers who use ASL, just make sure it’s actually ASL they’re using and not like German or British Sign Language. Sometimes you can sorta follow along, other times, its completely different.
There are also a ton of apps for Sign Language out there, but I haven’t found any free ones I’ve really liked yet. Definitely worth poking around, though.
If anyone has anything they’d like to add to this list, please do!
