Important Notice on the Future of this Blog
This is probably going to be a bit long, because conciseness has never been my forte, much less when I have a throbbing headache, but if you follow me, it’s important and I ask that you please read.
Maintaining this blog in the manner that you’re all used to has become a major source of stress for me. I’ve been running on little more than a sense of obligation interspersed with the occasional panic attack for quite a few months, now. For my sanity’s sake, something has to give. Problem is, I’m not sure how much.
One thing that definitely has got to go is frostiron, and I feel awful about that. The only affiliate I have who promos me at all is a frostiron blog. Some of my most supportive and loyal followers are frostiron shippers. Problem is, the fandom as a whole is batshit cray and I can no longer bring myself to check the tag. I do not think I have ever seen a group of people who take more delight in starting ship wars. I’ve tried to stick it out under the assumption that the asshats are a very vocal minority, but I just can’t do it a second longer. Not when it is always my own OTP’s in the crosshairs.
While getting rid of that ship would certainly help alleviate some of the stress, I’m not sure if it would be enough. The other tags haven’t exactly been enjoyable lately, either. When I go into the Thorki tag and see more stolen art than new content, it makes me want to delete my entire blog in a fit of rage. The only thing that has stopped me is knowing all of the work I have put into it, and not wanting to lose that.
So at this point, I have three options.
I take a brief hiatus to hopefully recover from my frustration-induced burnout, and resume with this blog minus the frostiron ship. (If I do this, I won’t delete the frostiron I’ve already posted, but I won’t torture myself be seeking out new content.)

(Unfortunately, it is currently set up as a main blog, which doesn’t mesh with my moderating style. I would have to set up a new sideblog once my friend gave me the name, and I’m not entirely certain I want to start from scratch. Then again, it’s much easier to gain followers with a URL like that.)
I stop updating this blog, don't pick up any others, and return to being a fandom ninja
I'm going to take a bit off while I consider those options and which would be best for me in the long run. I am teetering between 2 and 3, atm, so it would be helpful to know if people would even want to follow me to a new blog or drop me altogether. Because I don't feel like putting all of the groundwork in if nobody is going to care.
