He’s been around at the top level for SO LONG and is truly one of the best AA gymnasts of this era and yet he has NO medals to show for it which is part of the reason this is so devastating.

Is there a livestream for sub 1 of men’s quals?

I read that that USAgym is going to have one, but i think it’s only for the sub when they are competing, right?

So basically what I gathered from today was as follows (and these are just MY OWN ramblings based on what I heard).

Vanessa confirmed what I already knew, aka having her compete today was Casella’s idea, not hers. She wasn’t training at all when he suggested she started getting ready lmao bye. This is pretty good indication that she had no intention of training for Worlds which is consistent with her idea of training in view of Tokyo. Besides, during today’s interview she also added that in case she’s not feeling good or she can see she can’t add anything to what the girls in the nominative roster already do, then she won’t go because “this isn’t like in Glasgow, where it was important to qualify the team, this time the whole point is individual goals, and I’ll be happy to compete only if I believe it is worth it”.

Casella is literally punishing Ferlito, Meneghini, and the others who didn’t get named for not working hard enough (according to him) in training when it was needed and by the deadline he set, which was Italian Nats. Whatever they do now, he doesn’t care about cause “it’s too late”.

Some bad news, stream wise. The Italian gym fed will stream the competition only 24 hours later, due to Flo gym having the rights. In order to see the Italian stream, you’ll have to subscribe to the Federginnastica.it website and pay a €3 fee (could be worse but still), plus it will only be available in Italy and I cannot guarantee that it will work with a proxy, so subscribe at your own risk if you want to :/ You will receive a poster signed by Vanessa and the FATE #RTT2020 by email if you subscribe tho lmao

Omg what is going on with Ferlito e Ferrari? I'm lost

Ferlito did an interview a few weeks ago where she shaded ferrari for doing ginnaste (which ferrari always criticised her for doing) and was like “i was the best italian in rio” and not so much that but rather then she went on to say that the nt is very competitive to say the least (aka its high drama)

Now ferrari was interviewed, like i said was detestable as always, and when she was asked about ferlito she said “i havent answered to her (saying she was better in rio) because i dont think she deserves it” even tho ferlito still was better 2/2 in the aa there

Plus in the same interview we had other shit like she went in aiming for fx silver (lol) and she never took anything for her tendon (come on vanessa lmao) which is a clear shade at the biles-wada thing bc it was an answer to a question about that case etc

She also said she wants to do dancing with the stars even though she’s always said she hated tv (which she and her coach made very clear a few times about the ginnaste show) and wanted to only focus on her sport career *eyeroll*
