I'm only saying this once because I've noticed someone doing this exact thing mainly in the horror/horror adjacent and slasher Tumblr tags, I'm not gonna name them here but this is a PSA to anyone who is a minor and is doing the same thing, you have your spaces and we have ours, this is for both comfort and safety reasons.

Jax is confirmed as a binary trans woman.

I made my original post before Goose confirmed it on bluesky, I'm only keeping the up because I mentioned my own experiences and those are clearly personal things I mentioned, if you saw my reblog I mentioned I'm happy goose confirmed it and I'm glad she did confirm it, I can't look into the future and if you bothered you'd know I don't care if Jax was Transmasc or transfem but I had seen my own experiences reflected in the character and if Goose either confirmed or denied anything it wouldn't change my love of Jax as a character, Jax being Transfem doesn't bother me, in fact I'm happy it got confirmed.

Gonna say what I’ve been saying all along.

Jax is a transfem narrative through and through. It literally informs so much of her actions. Yes the trans experience isn’t limited to one type of trans, Jax’s trans story is told through the lens of a closeted trans woman though. Any shared experience is the universal aspect of the trans experience that exists within all trans stories, she’s still a repressed trans woman in the show.

Transmasc Jax AU’s are cool. Never wanna see those disappear. Relating to Jax in a transmasc way is valid.

Don't attack me for this but I think Jax is transmasc, I'm extremely anxious about posting this due to how I've seen people who headcanon Jax as Transfem have gotten towards people who headcanon him as anything else, please don't attack me in replies about how I'm wrong and understand that I'm going off of my own personal experiences and how I can see similarities between my experiences and how Jax is in the show.

I'm basing this off of my own experiences since I'm transmasc myself.

His tendency to push anything feminine away and trying to be this really masculine guy is something I did early into my transition, I pushed away and rejected anything feminine and hated being perceived as anything other then a guy, I hated dresses, I hated having long hair, I hated anything that made me seem feminine, I see myself in that side of him.

His dislike towards Zooble seems like jealousy more then anything he's jealous that they're comfortable with their gender identity and are able to be out and living as their true self, I used to be like that too when I saw people who were able to be open about themselves and happy about being trans.

Another thing I want to point out is that the bow scene in episode 9 could've been Ribbit trying to let him know it's okay for him to be feminine, him saying his mum would say he's less of a man for being sensitive feel like it could easily been a jab from his mum not accepting his identity, and what he told her could've been that he's wanting to go the next stage of transitioning or realising that he might be a Non-binary Transmasc, we won't know what he said to her because it's left up to our own interpretation.

What voice actors say on if Jax is transmasc or transfem doesn't mean it's canon, it's only canon if the creator comes out and confirms or denies it and that's up to Goose if she wants to confirm it or leave it up to fan interpretation, personally I don't care if it never gets a solid confirmation from Goose I understand why she doesn't like the fanbase and respect her decision to no longer interact with it.

If you want to leave hate please go somewhere else, this isn't about what you headcanon or think Jax identifies as this is my own thoughts and some of my personal experiences, it's not a space for you to argue and with me, I don't want that and I just wanted to say my piece without getting jumped for it.

If you think otherwise that is okay and I respect that, please respect my opinion and how I interpreted Jax's gender.

I'm happy Gooseworx came out to confirm Jax as Transfem, I'm happy I was able to see my own experiences as a Transmasc person reflected in a Transfem character like Jax.

I won't be deleting the original post as it was made before the bluesky post and it would be weird if I acted like I never posted it and shared my thoughts before Gooseworx confirmed it.

Also to that weirdo spamming my asks trying to call me transphobic before I saw the bluesky post confirming that Jax is Transfem wtf is your problem, If you want to say something come off of anon and directly say the vile shit you've been saying in my asks where everyone can see.
