This feels wild to say about a fictional character, but Ichigo has changed the trajectory of my life *dramatically* since I started watching Bleach. Heâs become a comfort character for me and inspired me to stop letting others walk all over me constantly. Iâve seen a lot of people compare him to Spider-Man, and Iâd say thatâs pretty accurate. Funnily enough, Spider-Man was actually a comfort character of mine when I was little, so I guess I came full circle on that one lol.

SoâŠHades 2 is in early access and oh my god Iâm in love. Iâve been waiting months for this, and Iâm so glad that itâs finally here. But, for the first time, thereâs a character design in Hades that Iâm just not vibing with. I know itâs still in early access, and said design could change, but I gotta get this off my chest.
Iâm not a fan of what theyâve done with Circe so far:
She looks tooâŠfriendly, in my opinion. I know they were probably going for Fairy Godmother vibes, but I feel like Circe should give off more rich aunt with no kids vibes.

Before anyone says it, Iâm fully aware of how similar this design is to certain versions of Circe from DC Comics. I was trying to avoid using a similar color palette to that version initially, but I decided to throw caution to the wind and roll with it, and I think it looks pretty good.

AO3 IS IN TROUBLE IF CALIFORNIAN AGE VERIFICATION LAW PASSES
An upcoming Age verification bill centered in California will be voted on Monday-- And as always,instead of actually protecting kids, it will lead to more online censorship and privacy risks, as it will force websites hosting to verify their users age by sending their ID, your browser history would be linked to it. if you live California, call your reps and tell them to oppose the bill AB3080 as it highly unconstitutional.
They also deem LGBT content harmful to minors, as well as mentions of weapons and tobacco, putting them on the same level as NSFW content.
Since AO3 headquarters reside in California, much like Reddit, Twitter,Discord and Youtube (and others) who knows how bad the effects would be. Instead of just effecting Californians (even then its concerning.) the effects would be US or even worldwide. VPNs wont help.

Hi, hello, Iâm not dead, Iâve just been incredibly busy and kind of taking a break from social media in general. Currently on a MASSIVE DC Comics kick and thereâs one particular topic that Iâve seen some HORRENDOUS takes about on here, so letâs discuss.
I never thought Iâd be saying this, but CONTENT WARNING: Iâm unfortunately going to be discussing topics related to rape and sexual assault below the cut. If that ainât your cup of tea, I completely understand, and youâre free to scroll away now. TLDR if you donât wanna read the whole thing: Iâve seen people accuse Poison Ivy of raping Count Vertigo just because she brainwashed him. These people have clearly never read the comic in question, and Iâm sick and tired of this misinformation being spread around.
Okay? Okay, letâs do this.
So, it shouldnât suprise anyone that Poison Ivy is probably one of my favorite DC characters of all time. I mean, I consider her to be one of my first gay awakenings (the others were Darcy from Winx Club and Emma Frost from Wolverine and the X-Men, if youâre wondering). So, when I see people accuse Ivy of being a full-blown RAPIST, Iâm obviously gonna be upset.
Now, me being a simp is not clouding my judgement in this case. When I first saw people making this claim, I tried my dammdest to put my bias to the side and figure out what the hell these people were talking about. Lo and behold, I find out that itâs complete BS.
This particular claim stems from John Ostranderâs run on Suicide Squad starting back in 1987. Iâm specifically referring to issue #45. This section on Count Vertigoâs Wikipedia page explains what went down infinitely better than I could, so Iâm just gonna quote it here:
âHe would later come to join the Suicide Squad in exchange for a shortened prison sentence, and it was revealed that he was plagued by bipolar disorder. After the Suicide Squad disbanded for the first time, Count Vertigo was captured by Vlatavan rebels, who wished to use his powers to overthrow the current Vlatavan government. They used a variety of drugs on him, each with a differing effect on the Count, as he would for example suddenly see himself as an Angel of Vengeance, sent to wreak havoc on the current rulers. Although he largely believed himself master of his own will, his mood swings were completely subject to his captors.
He was captured by Poison Ivy when the Suicide Squad came in and resolved the conflict and Kaligari (then-ruler of Vlatava) was murdered. Count Vertigo was Poison Ivy's slave for a long period of time, during which he grew to hate Poison Ivy and frequently threatened to kill her when he was free of her control. Amanda Waller was able to free Vertigo of her control so that he could stop a group of missiles hitting Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem at the behest of the villain Kobra. If the Dome had been destroyed, innocent lives would have been lost in a resulting war.
Vertigo succeeded, and it turned out that as he went into rehab and expunged the chemicals that had been pumped into his body by both Ivy and the rebels, that he was unwittingly cured of the disorder that had plagued him for so long.â
Iâd also like to point out this snippet:
âVertigo also resolved his grudge with Poison Ivy. During the War of the Gods crossover, he was perfectly willing to let her die when he found her abandoned on an Amazonian island; ironically, she was bound and promised whoever freed her, her undying devotion. Snickering snidely, Vertigo left her to die in the ruins of the collapsing temple they were in. Still, Ivy was saved, and Count Vertigo would later reluctantly work alongside her in the Suicide Squad, leaving their grudge be.â
Now, what does this have to do with Ivy allegedly being a rapist? Well, Iâve seen multiple people on here claim that Ivy raped Count Vertigo when she brainwashed him. To be quite blunt, this couldnât be further from the truth. There is no, and I mean NO instances of Ivy raping or assaulting Count Vertigo. The worst thing she does is have him do things for her. Thatâs it. No overly sexual stuff in there at all. Here, take some pages that (hopefully) prove my point:

Now, Iâm saying all of this in relation to Count Vertigo. If thereâs any ACTUAL instances of Ivy raping someone, feel free to let me know. HOWEVER, if youâre going to do that, I want you to cite the actual comic where it happens. If thereâs one thing Iâve learned in college, itâs that you should never make a claim if you canât back it up with an actual source.
That being said, I think the idea of Ivy and Vertigo being a couple is really funny, and Iâm absolutely down to write a fanfiction addressing all of this stuff if anyoneâs interested. I may be a shitty fiction writer, but dammit, Iâm willing to try.
Anyway, stop calling Ivy a rapist. Sure, she does stuff that crosses a line on occassion, but sheâs a villain. Iâm pretty sure they all do that.
Now, if youâll excuse me, Iâm gonna go listen to some Precure OSTâs to cleanse my mind of this absolute nonsense.

Letâs say itâs 6.15pm and youâre going home (alone of course), after an unusually hard day on the job. Youâre really tired, upset and frustrated. Unfortunately you donât know if youâll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!!
NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONEâŠ
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.
A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.
Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can perhaps buy precious time to get themselves to a phone and dial 911.

So, I was informed that this past Sunday marks the 22nd anniversary of the Bratz franchise! I remember owning at least one of the dolls and watching a bunch of the movies when I was a kid, so I felt kinda obligated to draw something to celebrate. Drawing this brought me so much nostalgia and it made me really happy tbh.
