My Milgram hot take is that idk how people thought that Mikoto was going to be well written or redeemed by trial 3. The writing was on the wall that this shit was going to be ass the moment Kotoko said DID (and ngl I think that was a mistranslation but got no evidence to back it up). It turned from a criticism of the highly toxic Japanese work culture making people snap to 'uwu I have a sweous mental illness that make me kill people' and yall ate that up.
