Just wanted to warn you that I know artists who have gotten to their PayPal accounts suspended for using the "gift" option instead of the deducted one for business transactions. I'd recommend instead increasing the prices a smidge to make up the difference because it'd be pretty awful if you lost your source of income. Take care :)

Okay but the problem is that if its payed any other way, PayPal waits until the person has received a package before I receive payment, and with online readings there is no package. So I have no other way to do it. 😥

the young girl who died is called Hana Williams, her adoptive parents were Christians who adopted seven children and raised them with extremely hard punishments based on a Christian child raising book.

Hana died after being denied food and being shut out in the yard as a punishment.

This isn’t just about “white people”, it’s about white Christian Americans. An important distinction to make in this case.

I don’t like to make these kinda posts but

the time has come for me to stop being so prideful and ask for help.

Guys i’m in serious need of help, in 1 week I’m going to be possibly homeless. There’s a good chance my bf can get us a spot on the couch at his grandparents house but it’s still uncertain.

I’m willing to do emergency commissions, Pixel art cheap for like $5-10 USD each. I would do regular art but it’s too time consuming with the little time I have. Or you could donate to me too either way, I need help, I am more than willing to work for it.

Just some background information, I have been looking for a job after me and my bf got fired from our jobs for about a month or 2 now. The lease on this house is ending in a week, our roommate is leaving and moving in with her sister so without her even with the two of us working we couldn’t afford this house. We found a cheap house that’s only $400 rent, pet friendly, and it’s our only chance. But since we’re unemployed we have no way of paying the down payment and rent. My goal is to get get $400, I don’t care how much pixel art it takes.

If I have to break my hand in the process so be it, I am not a lazy person. Not having work is killing me, it’s making me feel useless. Despite my arthritis I don’t let it stop me.

Women are raised on horror stories of how dangerous the world is for us. We’re told not to ride too far on our bikes because there have been so many cases of grown men snatching little girls off the side of the road. Our mothers tell us not to wander away when we’re out shopping because someone could grab us, and if we don’t listen and go off on our own our mother’s panicked response when they find us confirms that we were in real danger. When we get a little older and start going out on our own we’re given countless lectures about how many women get attacked every year, often by people they know and are close with, to instill in us a need to be constantly vigilant about our own safety. This creates an automatic response. When a male starts getting aggressive our subconscious reminds us that we could end up a statistic, we could be the next victim that a parent will see on the news and use our story to warn their little girl about the dangers of the world. Not all men who raise their voices are going to get violent but we have no way of knowing what kind of man you really are until it’s too late. Aggressive anger causes us to panic because we’ve been trained to take that as a warning and worry that it might escalate.
