The world today is made of images. Some people might blame the rise of DC and iPhone that it seems everyone can be a photographer — the real professional photographers cannot be valued or even noticed.
However, if you do a little study or ask around, you would find that people actually need photographers more than ever. People in general do respect the pros but they have little knowledge about it. So how does it happen? Why they never reach to you?
It’s Hard to Compare
Photographers like you might put a lot of effort on building up your brand and leads base. It’s a good start. But you have to know that people don’t know about photography.
“They are like baby to this industry.”
That’s what we found. Sometimes, people are just tired with the old fashion and look forward for a difference. However, people don’t get involved into this industry that much. They’re not sure where, what price or how long is the service would be the best combo for them. They need a place to review all this information at a glance. Then, get one with ease.
The Birth of Graphr
So in order to make people access to photographers more easily, Graphr is born. It’s a marketplace for everyone to browse, compare and “buy”. The initial thought is to make the process more simple comparing to the quoting way we’re used to.
There’re many brands (photographers or studios) that you can browse.
People can also set up the location, genre,and budget filters.

People has fighting on this topic quite a while. Is Selfie a bad or good way to present yourself? Well, in stead of selfie, it’s time to take a little more serious about the “ photography of yourself.”
Except if you’re a celebrity, which might make no difference since people are familiar with your “image”, how do WE make a use of selfie? Or we just shouldn’t take it.
For those who thinks selfie is negative elaborate that,
“ Selfie can make us addicted to it. ”
Because you need to take A LOT to get THE ONE your think show the best part of you. Even if you don’t spend much time, it only shows that you can manage your camera or apps well.
“Stop the ST*PID Duck Face! ”
This is an old one. Guess for some swaggers, they have alternatives like sparrow face, frog face, kissing lips… whatever, it just seems too much and not the real you.
“Too much consciousness & self-satisfied, just too much.”
“You’re actually in the way of beautiful scenery.”
Since people usually photograph with their phones, it’s hard to control the composition.
But Selfie do make us better. For some they believe that ,
“ It helps to be confident and look positive.”
No one would want to look bad in front of others.
“I’m the photographer of myself.”
It shows who I am or who I want to be whenever and whenever
“Having fun. That’s simple”
Either side seems to be reasonable. The truth is , what we want to do is to tell others,
“ Hey, this is me. I’m doing well here.”
Selfie can be an addiction or a simple habit for one to record the daily life. If you feel you’re spamming your friends too much with your own face, then you should consider to take(post) less. But if you’re contented with all those comments or likes(hearts), it’s nothing bad to make yourself feel good.
Well, In stead of selfie, it’s time to take a little more serious about the “ photography of yourself.”
There is a better way to help you look better and preserve memory but we all forget. You know that,
You can cook by yourself but for special occasion, you’ll go to restaurant. You can cut/set up your hair by yourself without problems. But you still visit salon once for a while.
Then, why should not the photography?
You can take selfie with your phone, DC, or SLR..... You can press the shutter. But what occasion would you need a professional photographer to help you out? Graduation? Weddings? anniversary? Actually, there’s a lot more.
In this social world, it’s not cliche to hire a professional photographer. When people scrolling the feed, do selfies still attract them? ( We don’t talk about NSFW here :P) No. We need something strong enough to tell your story. On dating site, on blogging or even on LinkedIn.

It Is Not Cliche to Hire a Professional Photographer
It’s cliche to say why should you hire, but it’s definitely trendy to hire one.
“Some one I know can take good photos, and I don’t even have to pay.” or “I can take photos by myself. I know my camera.”
These are thoughts that some people nowadays have on photographers. Since it’s hard to define who is more profession and the tech in camera is getting better and better, people take photography as a simple job which only requires some on to press the shutter. People forgot the value that a profession can provide.

It is true that anyone can take “good” photos, needless to say now we have many apps to help us do awesome effects or retouching. Nonetheless, to become a real pro in photography, there are more to learn. It cost you money, time and what’s more, it need you to have a sensitive mind to essential moment and passionate attitude toward beauty.
A professional photographer i s not a person who only presses shutter to take pictures. Not do they invest in their gears, but also do they study in lights, composition and aesthetics. Moreover, they capture moments that you might didn’t aware of but will remind you the nice time even after many years. A professional photographer can bring up your emotion with their photo works. Or, they can reveal who you are by leading your eyes to interact with their lens.
They help you tell a better story of yourselves.
“I know they are good, but do I really need it? “ You might wonder.
Maybe try asking other questions to yourself,
“Do you want to look gorgeous?” “Do you want to look profession?” “Do you want to preserve the best time of yourself?” If the answer is positive, you should not hesitate.
Photography is a luxury for some people but it is also an investment to the future. No matter what kind of photography you take is for saving an unique moment or to show the possibility of yourself.
