Abandoned Domes of Casa Grande, in Arizona Desert, 1950s-esque Flying Saucer Structure

This is in the autism quiz.
Robert Smith: INTP + ennea 5 + sp/sx
Harry Potter: Luna Lovegood [INTP]
OFFICIAL TYPING by Charity / the Mod
Functional Order: Ti-Ne-Si-Fe
Judging Functional Axis:
Introverted Thinking (Ti) / Extroverted Feeling (Fe)
Luna has formed her own, interpretive understanding of the world, based on what she thinks is logically possible—and it’s nothing like the actual world. Since her father raised her immersed in quirky ideas, conspiracy theories, and belief in fantastical creatures, so long as it makes sense to Luna, she operates on the assumption it’s logically true. The best example of this is when Hermione, a Te user, attempts to convince Luna that the horn thing in her family home is dangerous, and actually something other than it is; Luna rather stubbornly refuses to listen, or to consider it is anything else other than what she believes it is. She has decided what it is, in her own mind, in a way that makes sense to her, and holds to it, even when Hermione can prove her wrong with actual evidence. In a sense, she is the anti-Hermione, and a parody of an INTP. Real ones are much more logically consistent, but Luna has constructed her own framework, and only accepts what fits into it—in her case, conspiracy theories. In so doing, she’s the most rational of her classmates in accepting that Voldemort has returned and that Harry is telling the truth. Her inferior Fe shows in her overall calm, detached approach to her own feelings – when other students harass her for being “weird” by stealing and hiding her things, she calmly goes about asking for their return since “I need them.” She effectively comforts others when necessary, reassuring Harry it is okay to be different and opening up about losing her mother—but even there, we see a disconnect between intense emotions (seeing her mother explode right in front of her) and her rather dry “recounting” of the event. Her careful painting of her friends’ faces into her bedroom ceiling, interlocking them with the word “friends,” shows her happiness at finding inclusion at last. Luna’s inferior Fe makes her not easily insulted, and rather “emotionless” on the surface.
Perceiving Functional Axis:
Extroverted Intuition (Ne) / Introverted Sensing (Si)
She is willing to believe any and everything… from Nargles to evil, devious schemes against Harry Potter. She has her fair share of absurd ideas, but also some sincere ones – she is right, in that Voldemort has returned. She warns Harry not to be foolhardy. When asked what object Voldemort might use of “special significance” to the school, she instantly connects to the legend of the Diadem and tells Harry where to find the ghost who might know what became of it. Luna, somehow, knew that was the answer. Luna has rather a floaty, abstract nature to her, which makes her stand out among her friends. She is not too bothered by details, and tends to abstract away from experiences.
Hogwarts House: Ravenclaw
House Traits: wit, intelligence, creativity, and wisdom.
Luna loves to learn. She also is clever, wise, and kind. She helps Harry solve the mystery of a Horcrux. She’s willing to put her mind to mental puzzles, and enjoys working them out in her head. She’s also eccentric and does not mind being seen as “strange.” She immerses herself in unusual topics and books.
Enneagram: 5w4 sp/sx
Tritype: 594 The Contemplative [5w4 9w1 4w5]
Luna is detached from everything, including her own feelings – when others steal and hide her possessions, she shrugs it off and says things have a way of returning to her; she will go have pudding instead. She is independent and often lost in her thoughts, curious about everything, including subjects the other students view with a degree of skepticism (conspiracy theories, creatures that may or may not exist, etc). She is very knowledgeable and resourceful, but also tends toward eccentricities. She is an odd one and is totally fine that way; she wears a Gryffindor lion’s head to support the team, even though she’s from Ravenclaw, and despite it making other people stare at her. She automatically assumes others will not want to be friends, and is genuinely surprised when Harry tells her he considers her a friend (“You do? Oh, that’s nice,” she says calmly). She doesn’t mind going elsewhere, either, assuming people are bored with her (“Come on, Dad… Harry doesn’t want to talk to us; he’s just too polite to say so”). Luna often sneaks away to be with other “misunderstood” creatures, such as the thestrils; she sees beauty in them, where others only see their hideousness and fear them because of their associations with death (you only see them after you witness death). Her 9 is unruffled by differences of opinion, completely calm, and somewhat numb to the insult of others teasing and tormenting her. As a soc-blind, she doesn’t have any idea how she comes across to others, nor does she care.
Soul: 22 [INTP 5w4]
Function Order: Ti-Ne-Si-Fe
“You can’t crush a soul here. That’s what life on Earth is for.” 22 does not want to experience anything that she doesn’t understand and cannot control; she wants to know how things work, and why people feel and think the way they do, and what motivated Joe’s decisions, and she has a blunt way of remarking upon his life—she thinks it is “boring and useless.” When a…

HP ends its customers' lives
HP never stopped innovating. From its origins in the 1930s as a leading electronics manufacturer to its role in the birth of PCs and performance servers, it has always demonstrated incredible ingenuity.
Today, that ingenuity is deployed in service of evil ink-based fuckery.
The printer-ink business model has always been a form of commercial sadism in which you are expected to put giant manufacturers’ interests ahead of your own with no expectation of any sort of reciprocity.
https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2020/11/ink-stained-wretches-battle-soul-digital-freedom-taking-place-inside-your-printer
After all, when your profits depend on charging more for ink than vintage Veuve-Clicquot, you need to get up to some serious shenanigans to get your customers to drain their bank accounts to fill their printers.
By contemporary standards, the opening hostilities in the ink-wars look positively quaint:
Manufacturing special half-full cartridges to ship with new printers so their owners have to buy a new set just days after the open the box
Requiring frequent “calibration” printouts that use vast amounts of ink
Gimmicking cartridges’ sensors to declare them “empty” even when there’s still ink in them
Thing is, all of this just makes official printer ink less desirable and fuels demand for third party ink.
For this to work, you need to win a two-front war: one on your customers and the other on your competitors. HP is fighting both.
First they pioneered the use of DRM to detect and prevent third-party ink.
Then when ink makers started making their own chips, or harvesting chips out of discarded cartridges to use in news ones, HP got US customs to seize the product, calling it a patent infringement.
But the real ugliness started in March 2016, when HP pushed out a fake “security update” for inkjet printers. Owners who ran the update saw nothing, just a software version number that went up by one.
What they didn’t know was that they’ve been given an asymptomatic infection - a malicious update that only kicked in five months later, after everyone had had a good long time to update. That update’s real purpose was to detect and reject third party ink.
It went off right after school started, stranding cash-strapped parents with a year’s worth of ink for their kids’ school projects. People were outraged. HP issued a nonpology.

(One year later, they did it again)

Every time HP got caught doing something evil, they had the same excuse: “that’s the deal we offered and you accepted it.”
For example, if the box says “Works best with HP ink,” then you are “agreeing” that it might not work with other ink. Nevermind that the only reason your printer doesn’t work with other ink is that HP tricked you into downgrading it so that the ink stopped working.
This is the grifter’s all-purpose excuse: “If you didn’t want me to rip you off, then why did you click ‘I agree’?”
HP was just getting started, though. In the ideal world, you wouldn’t even own your printer ink, you’d just RENT it.
Enter HP Instant Ink.
https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03760650
This is “ink as a service.” You pre-commit to printing a certain number of pages/month and they mail you ink, which they own. You’re not buying the ink, you’re buying the right to use it.
If you don’t print your quota in a month, some of the pages roll over, but they don’t let you bank more than a few months’ worth - and to keep those pages, you have to keep paying for your sub. Meanwhile, if you blow through your limit, you get charged for every page.
This is a weird and unpalatable idea, so to sell it, HP rolled out a pay-one-price “Free Ink for Life” plan that gave you 15 pages every month for as long as you owned your printer.
But this is HP we’re talking about, so words have no meaning. Last month, HP notified its “free ink for life” customers that their life had ended, and they were being moved to a new afterlife where they had to pay $0.99/month, forever, or else.
This Darth Vader “Pray I don’t alter it further” shit is the most on-brand HP thing ever
Worse still are the many imitators HP inspires - all those companies that have decided that it’s your solemn duty to arrange your affairs to suit their shareholders’ needs.
The right-to-repair criminals like Apple, John Deere and Medtronic. Tesla and GM, Juicero and Keurig - companies that are not merely content with waging war on customers, but also on competitors who offer those customers shelter.
Since the turn of this century, HP has been shedding its productive business units that make useful products, and focusing its legal and engineering departments on innovations in shitty dystopian hack-futurism.
Wonder if there’s any “open printer” initiatives?

The 7 most hated personality traits
Research indicayes that the seven most hated personality traits include the following:
1. Arrogance – This is the know it all who looks down on others. They’re haughty, superior and proud.
2. Rudeness – This includes being impolite, offensive, or embarrassing … and disregarding social norms and rules.
3. Being domineering and overbearing – This individual like to take control of others, and dictate situations and events. They disregard the input and the feelings of others. It’s all about them, and what they think and want to do.
4. Dishonesty – This is one of the most hated traits as it undermines trust – the glue that binds relationships. And once trust has been lost it is hard to regain
5. Being moody and temperamental – It is hard to relate to temperamental individuals. They’re changeable, erratic and unpredictable. It can destroy the peace, put everyone on edge, and leave you feeling tired, worn out and drained.
6. Unreliability – This also undermines and destroys the sense of trust that’s critical for forming good, and strong, relationships. You don’t know where you are – or if the plans will later change. Hence, it’s hard to feel at ease – or to delegate to others.
7. Being overly dependent / always needing support – It’s exhausting when you always have to be there for others – to protect them from life’s blows and rebuild their self-esteem. You can’t just be yourself or focus solely on your life. You have to bolster them, and affirm their strengths and worth.
Password sharing is not piracy any more than loaning your friend a DVD or watching a movie with your family is piracy. The service is already paid for. Execs just consider sharing to be eeeevil because they can’t exploit every individual person.
That’s Louis Rossman, a repair technician and YouTuber, who went viral recently for railing against Apple. Apple purposely charges a lot for repairs and you either have to pay up or buy a new device. That’s because Apple withholds necessary tools and information from outside repair shops. And to think, we were just so close to change.

Have an iPhone and are in need of repairs
Have a friend with that problem
Hate Apple and are more than happy to spite them in some way
No one will know which is it
This guy inspired me to repair my own macbook. First of all, you should know that I am not… like, I have to look up HOW to look up what my computer specifications are. Tech, that ware either soft or hard, is not a subject in which I experience comfort or competence. But my puppy peed on my keyboard, and I asked the apple store, or the fucking mac cafe, or the godsdamn Computer House Chill Zone or whatever cute ass name they have for their bullshit store, and they said it would be TWELVE HUNDRED DOLLARS TO REPLACE MY KEYBOARD. I’m not even exaggerating.
So I asked the internet, well how hard IS it to repair? And I saw this guy’s video, and while I am no techie, I AM fueled by spite, so I was all “oh, they do that shit on purpose specifically so they can charge me $1200 bucks or make me buy a new computer hunh? FUCK THEM” and I bought all the tools I needed for about $25 and I bought all the parts I needed for about another $25 and I watched a few tutorial videos, and I replaced my own keyboard.
So, once you are doing the actual deed, it becomes pretty obvious that they are finding creative ways to make this much harder than it has to be on purpose. On thing that stood out to me is, instead of all the tiny screws being the same size, there are about two dozen very slightly different sizes. They could easily be all the same size, or like, two sizes at most, but no.
These mother fuckers will take a panel that screws into place and they’ll use a different size screw for each corner. They are so close that you almost cannot tell them apart visually, but they each will only screw into the matching corner. Like, it’s a pretty clear “fuck you” to anyone trying to do repairs.
anyway, this guy is also fueled by spite, and doing holy work, and I have mad respect
