Don’t be a hero. Just create a new civilian identity as Peter Anthony Mayson and live. And it works. Until one day he somehow catches Red Hood’s attention and Jason Todd-Wayne crashes his way into his mundane life, leaving cracks in Peter’s fragile mask of normality.
2. ⨳✦The Big Bad Red Riding Hood and the Friendly Neighborhood Spider - 107k - “Red Hood’s the name.”
Peter mulled the name over, turning it in his mind.
The man’s pride deflated quickly. “No! Not legally!”
Or a fic where Peter was found unconscious and injured in a dumpster by Jason after accidentally inventing multiverse travel instead of time travel. He doesn’t know how he did it, but he did.
3. ⨳Spider webs and rocket lunchers - 59k - Peter just wants someone to acknowledge his existence, to look him in the eye and say "Peter Parker exists". So when he tries to tell his friends, team red, his name, its not surprising when it all goes to shit. Damn his Parker luck and damn Doctor Strange.
Though maybe getting sent to another universe isn't all bad, maybe he can build a new life for himself. One with his real name and this cute guy that visits the bar he works at
4. ⨳✦Existential Crisis Mode - 279k - Peter was alone, mid-way through an existential crisis after the Erasure™ and was dreading the upcoming month of May.
Jason was sick of people telling him how he felt. ‘You don’t need us anymore,’ Artemis had told him, as if saying it would make it true. As if Jason needed someone to justify keeping them around. But three weeks back in Gotham and all Jason felt was fucking bored and lonely.
It was a relief, then, when some random New Yorker was thrown into his living room through a portal straight out of some LSD daydream.
Finally, something interesting to deal with.
Cue some wild family misunderstandings, criminal conspiracies and cults.
Because there’s always a goddamn cult.
5.✸ The study of the spider man - 19k - Sexual dimorphism, the difference between different sexes of the same species. In spiders, the females are always larger. So when one quarter spider man sees red hood for the first time, every instinct in his little spider brain is screaming ‘mate’ at him.
Red Hood suffers the consequences for it and the batfam are laughing at his pain
6. ✸Shutterbug - 131k - Waking up Peter finds him self in a new city and no memory of how he got there. The question is, where is Gotham and how did he get there?
Little does he know that his new photographer job will lead him to making new friend and maybe something more.
Join Peter as he takes on Gotham and its rouges- not to mention finding his place as a spider in the mists of bats and birds.
7. ✸Red Flags and Webbed Disasters - 20k - Jason has a problem. A red, blue, and Spider-shaped problem.
It starts with an accidental trip to New York, a mid-air near-miss with Spider-Man, and an argument that definitely doesn’t end with Jason admitting the bug has good reflexes. Then Deadpool shows up, decides Jason is Team Red™ material, and refuses to take no for an answer. And just when Jason thinks things cannot get more annoying, he meets Peter Parker—clumsy, dorky, weirdly strong Peter Parker.
Now Jason has two problems.
8. ✸Caught - 20k - Jason Todd is just trying to do his best for Crime Alley while managing his criminal enterprise with his team. He wasn't expecting to invite the cute, wickedly smart new tenant to work with him, but, well, his life has always been a series of surprises.
9. ⨳Fixing for a living - 83k - It wasn't enough to erase Peter Parker from everyone's minds. Magic like that doesn't last forever. So, to ensure the universe won't break again in the future, Peter was sent away, far from the place he called home.
Where Peter starts over in a new universe, his life is flipped upside down, but one thing stays with him—his ability to fix things.
Let's just say he takes the whole, Fixing, a little too far.
10. ✸Another child assassin?! - 59k - Deception is all he knows. Killing is all he knows. Emotions were one's downfall. So what happens when Peter is thrown into a world and meets people that try to change that? Will he let them?
✸Pretty Bird - 51k - Jason has spent the last six years working as a hooker for Roman Sionis, but when he gets picked up by Slade Wilson, he finally has the chance to make enough money to get out of Gotham for good. He just has to survive the weekend with Slade; without pissing off any mob bosses, or letting Roman figure out his plan to escape. Easy enough.
Except that Slade is making things hard, in more ways than one. Charming and self-assured; Jason can't help falling for him. Not that it matters. Jason is leaving Gotham after this final job.
2.✸ First and Then - 15k - One ordinary night, Jason Todd meets a world-renowned mercenary in the kitchen. And decides that the best action is to offer some tea. After all, he is raised by a British butler.

In other words, this is an AU where Jason never died and never became Red Hood. Lots of frank after-midnight discussions, mostly in kitchens.
3. ✸Working on my night moves - 23k - “So, what, you were just watching me in my sleep?” Jason snarls. “Do you have any idea how creepy that is?”
“Well, you did say my name,” Slade says wryly. “Sounded an awful lot like an invitation.”
[In which Jason gets injured and lets Slade take care of him... in more ways than one. This is filthy, but also a whole lot softer than it has any right to be.]
✸✦On Paper - 69k - All it takes is a routine trip to the dentist to set off a series of events that somehow ends in Jason getting married. To Roy.
2. ✸✦Laughter lines - 55k - Roy had fatherhood thrust upon him, and honestly, he's terrified. He doesn't know how to be a dad, he doesn't even know if he can be one. At least Roy doesn't have to do this alone- not as alone as he expected. Support from his friends brings the most unexpected bit of help Roy could have gotten-
Jason. Dick's kid brother who seems more than happy to spend every second he can with Roy and Lian. Who smiles when Roy laughs and looks genuinely happy when he's holding Lian. Who cares about Roy more than he should- and who Roy never wants to hurt.
And when he loses Jason, Roy is so sure he has. Sure he should have done something differently, somehow. So when a new face shows up in Gotham, and Roy gets wind of who he might be, he has no choice but to face the reality that Jason still needs him. That maybe he's got a second chance to do right by the kid he loved and simply couldn't.
3. ✸Lies that were never told - 12k - “You’re the straight brother.”
“Oh?” Well that’s news to Jason, a very queer individual with a boyfriend.
However, he apparently doesn't have a way to come out to his family. And he has to find one soon because said boyfriend is finding it very interesting that Dick keeps sending him t-shirts that say 'ALLY.'
4. ✸Don't feed the birds (or they'll keep coming back) - 65k - Red Hood is crossing the street one night and he's hit by a car. Tim Drake scrambles out of the passenger seat, but his Uber driver doesn't stick around to face Red Hood's wrath. Tim is 13 years old, so Hood knows he wasn't the driver, but Tim still wants to make up for what happened, so he says he owes Hood a favor. That is the beginning of an unlikely truce that turns into friendship that turns into little brother acquisition.
aka: Tim owes Red Hood a favor and through a series of back and forth favors, he gets adopted by the Red Hood and the Outlaws.
5. ✸Glowsticks and Bullet Holes - 57k - “I’m here to piss off Batman.”
“And that involves me… why?”
“Well, no one can do it quite like you can.”
Hal Jordan paused, and Jason could see the little swelling of pride that puffed out his chest. He get’s it. There’s nothing quite like knowing you could get under the big Bat’s skin.
What started as a team up to mess with Batman turned into a team that just may save the world.
6. ✸My true love gave to me - 57k - On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...
When Roy has to break the news to Lian that the usual Queen Family Christmas isn't happening, she's devastated, but ultimately able to recover with the idea of a small Christmas with Jason and Roy. Jason takes the opportunity to propose a different solution.
7. ✸Will they? Won't they? Are they ? Are they not?! - 11k - “Yeah, obviously Jason would rather spend time with his boyfriend than with us.”
At that Dick and Babs exchanged confused looks. Clearly both of them had missed the memo.
“Boyfriend?” Babs repeated, setting her tablet down on her lap. Her expression betrayed that the piece of information had escaped her.
“Like a friend who is a boy and also Jason is dating?” Dick asked for clarification. No one had to look at him to hear the disbelief suspended in his tone, the light trace of humor as though the mere suggestion was funny to him.
“That is the definition.”
“You didn’t know?” Tim asked and he finally looked away from the screen, turning to face Dick and Babs with a raised eyebrow. Genuinely surprised it seemed. Damian’s expression mirrored his.
“I didn’t know because there’s nothing to know,” Dick said at the same time that Babs said:
“Jason and Roy aren’t dating.”
Or alternatively; family dinner is postponed when the family find themselves arguing about whether Jason and Roy are dating or not.
8. ✸New lovers are nervous and tender - 109k - Usually you have the fastest response time on the team,” Bruce rumbled, matter-of-fact.
“Oh my god,” Jason sighed, pushing his hair out of his eyes. “Well, I don’t run around dressed as a traffic light with a gaggle of super humans so I’m less noticeable than the others.”
Jason and Roy come to Gotham. Roy learns about what it takes to be a crime lord while Jason struggles to reintegrate into the Batfamily.
9. ✸Don't let you being legally dead stop you from living your life - 72k - Jason Todd has a plan.
He has a plan to protect those in the East End of Gotham who he loves. All he has to do is destabilise Black Mask's empire and become the new Crime lord of Gotham. A task which isn't as easy as it looks on paper. As Jason's priorities shift, Batman and his brightly coloured proteges becomes a side-note in his plan.
Despite this they seem to pop up awfully often.
Especially when they slowly decide one by one that the Red Hood is friend shaped. Honestly its not great for his street rep.
Oh and there is always the matter of the Joker to be considered.
10. ❀ The little bit of spine you've been saving for his mattress (love) - 17k - Relationships are complicated, not just interpersonal ones, but ones we have with ourselves. Jason Todd has never had a great relationship with his sex life. That was until he met Roy. While learning about yourself in a safe environment can be the best thing in the world, sometimes it doesn't stop you from wanting to step into something outside of what you perceive as your norm.
11.❀ I just follow your scent - 10k - Roy Harper is a lot of things.
A loving father. An amazing boyfriend. A complex hero. A goddamn good archer. A wizard with weaponry. An addict years into sobriety. A work in progress adoptive son. A sweet adoptive brother who’s always trying his best. A great teammate. An intelligent individual that lots of people like to be around.
But most of all, he’s a man of his word.
So when he said he wants to huff his beautiful, gorgeous, down right sexy boyfriend’s underwear, he fucking meant that shit.
Or, Roy Harper has a scent kink and loves the way his boyfriend smells, in a very, very sexual way
12. ❀Sweet Bod - 17k - Jason was going to die before the New Year came.
And no, it wasn't because the holiday season was always harder for the bats, putting strain on all their relationships with one another.
Or because he was driving himself crazy putting all his efforts into making sure his turf was as well taken care of as possible during the winter months.
Hell, it wasn't even having to deal with the snow of Gotham and trying not to bust his ass while getting tangled with rogues on icy rooftops.
