The two hit it off, but not enough. Bakugo slowly loses his sanity waiting for them to kiss. Shouto loses sleep waiting for them to murder each other.
They decide to fix it. It doesn't go exactly as planned.
one thing i love about the phm fandom is the sheer amount of people who love stratt. like so many other fandoms would overlook her or hate her or reduce her into an evil caricature because shes a woman in a powerful position who did something bad to the white boy protagonist but the phm fandom ADORES her. and theyre right. eva stratt the character ever
i really don't like wearing a polo, but. it is kind of the masc cut of clothes. got brother-ed for the second time in like two weeks. short hair and polo does smth to people's perception
stratt and grace and the rest of the phm science team running on 4 cumulative hours of sleep at an unscheduled conference. dimitri and lokken are trying to explain a new complication in the hail mary's fueling system and the resources necessary to iron it out but they keep getting interrupted by government officials butting in until grace (who doesn't even look up from his laptop and checked out of the conversation two days ago) snaps "we raise our hands to speak"
complete silence for like 3 seconds. the french prime minister sheepishly raises his hand and stratt smiles for the first time that week (grace buries his entire head behind his laptop screen for wont of a better option, like jumping straight into the sea)
I kind of miss the impulsivity that certain spaces used to allow. oh you want a hair cut today? hairdresser in the corner can fit you in before her 2 o’clock. tattoo of a cobra… sure leg or arm? even concerts, back when you could go to the box office thirty mins before any show. not saying these things don’t exist at all, but everything feels booked five months in advance and 10x more expensive
