From a 1983 issue of my library’s staff newsletter comes this poll with some questionable questions.
Do you want a milk machine in the Staff Lounge?
Yes
No
Also, I did not Google “milk machine” while I was at work. I wasn’t born yesterday!
Also by the time I started in 2013, you could no longer smoke in the indoor part of the Staff Lounge, but you could still smoke outside in the “cage” attached to the Staff Lounge.
Have you actually seen a milk machine, in person, with your very own eyes?
Yes
No

listen. I know I’m not the first to talk about this, so I’m not gonna go into detail about how I think the show got all of *gestures hand* it right to a harrowing degree of accuracy.
but what I will point out is that every time ed and stede think they’re unlovable, when they think they’re beyond hope and beyond saving, when they think they’re better off dead and gone - this show goes out of its way to prove them wrong time and time again. and that’s uhhh. that’s really, really magical.
