i know you said we ride at dawn but i’m not a morning person actually. can we ride after lunch
before we start posting that july is gay wrath month let’s consider that july is disability pride month first and foremost. the “be gay do crimes” memes can wait
before this post breaches containment and people start going “why not both hehehe” i want you to seriously consider the very long history of disabled people’s existence being pushed aside and/or seen as secondary. i promise you it’s not going to hurt to hold onto the memes and give disabled people space for visibility and celebration.
i say this as a disabled trans person whose trans identity is made front-and-center to the (mainly cis) people who know i’m trans but my identity as a disabled person is brushed off by the very same people.
rpf is bad because people shouldnt be attracted to each other in real life.
I made a friend! Literally!
I finished this brushbuddy art doll earlier this week and he is very cute. It's got a wire armature inside and is fully posable, including the leather fingers and toes. (There are also magnets in the feet to potentially stick it to things later.)

has everyone seen the website that gives you a rothko for your local weather?
His sunkissed shoulder
[ID: Digital illustration of a blonde man facing away from the viewer, sitting shirtless in long grass, with a blue sky above him. On the left of the figure is a sword, and to the right a single cicada wing. Underneath is a second panel, a close up of the same man's bare back, another man with dark hair pressing a kiss to his shoulder. /. End ID]

Wacom recently asked me to talk about why I make queer comics, and given there are multiple bills right now floating around in congress that are effectively "we will kill your livelihood if we get a sniff of queer" I had some pretty strong, simply feelings to relay.
You can read the interview here, you can buy my graphic novel featuring a gay vampire here, and you can call your congressmen about rejecting HR 2616, HR 8705, HR 7661 using 5calls.org (they don't have these specific bills listed as things to call about, but luckily you can talk about whatever you want on the phone)

BAMBOO IS ACTUALLY A GRASS 😭
ID: a two-picture freeform comic. The first picture shows a drawing of a panda driving a bamboo car and several people with square heads yelling at him. The caption reads, "The panda drives this vehicle and when the squarehead villains attack him they say unkind things first, like..." The text bubbles from the squareheads say, "Hey Tree Guy / Tree Guy / Tree Guy." The caption of the second picture says, "And this makes the panda cry! And he takes out his bamboo sword and fights them saying, 'BAMBOO IS ACTUALLY A GRASS.'" The drawing is of the panda, standing and crying with its mouth open to show teeth, swinging its sword at a squarehead so quickly it is just motion lines. End ID.
I need to stop replying to “how do you make friends in your 30s?” threads because all my answers boil down to “you have to want to know people instead of have friends” and I don’t think people wanna hear that
It’s like. People can tell if you don’t really like or connect with them. If you aren’t truly enamored with someone you will have a hard time coming up with activities to do together to deepen the friendship. Because you don’t really like that person that much.
