i dislike how peter david makes so many characters in xfi homophobic or islamophobic just for the sake of conflict and drama. especially because these characters are otherwise likable and we’ve never seen them exhibit these prejudices before, even though they’ve been around for years. it’s painfully clear that he writes these diverse characters for the consumption of straight white christians and he doesn’t care that he’s offending the very people he’s depicting.

the BIGGEST POWER MOVE OF THE EPISODE tbh was the moment Sansa turned her back and walked out of the room FIRST. like….. courtesy and etiquette can be WEAPONIZED and are NOT always purely defensive (”joffrey is my one true love” etc)… This is OFFENSE (technically offensive, but whateva) Sansa is making a point in front of every single power player in Winterfell and then Jon follows after her…. no wonder Dany was storming around after this
