Imagining a 1920s Melbourne Police Commissioner, in need of an officer to go undercover at a radio station, deciding to send Jack Robinson because he has a nice voice.
And somewhere inside that usually stern and yet sonorous, exterior of the handsome Detective Inspector Jack Robinson, hides a really snappy dressed and somewhat fast personage by the name of Archie Jones
My question is... Did Jack just have that rather loud wardrobe laying around in his closet? Because he couldn't have had eons of time to go shopping 🛒 for Archie's attire.
And if he had... What setting would he have used it? Maybe he (like the rest of us) had just 1 loud item in all categories of clothing and then decided to throw all of them into the pool that makes up Archie's style.
The jumper could easily have been a present from some aunt... But the tie 👔?!?
And the (pretended?) flirting 🫦
We really need a fic or 2 more about Archie
Lol... I guess he borrowed the vest from Alexander Cotton (from Ballarat train) ...
