You want me to ~be compassionate~ here's the compassionate answer: your trauma will tell you you're a helpless child forever and you need to Not Think This Way for yourself (living under the assumption you're still in danger whether you actually are or not) and everyone else who has to tiptoe around your Sensitivity.
