I am Elora! I am in my early(ish) twenties, and any pronouns for me are fine! I also write things sometimes

i am just eternally fond of how outwardly in love and sweet they are with each other. cause we also grew up where if you WERE gay it was seen as less egregious if you were that kind of constant “fuck you. fuck YOU.” aggressive and even cold with your partner. like if you acted more “manly” (see angry emotionally distant and uncooperative) you could be forgiven by some for fucking another man. but if you were kind and sweet and lovey dovey you were a faggot and the worst kind. dan has talked about that as an individual with bullying but it was also such a thing targeted specifically at how a couple interacted with each other. and they tease and play but they also are sooooo sweet and thoughtful and reassuring and in love. and they also talk about sex!! like they are everything i was told you couldn’t be and they are thriving.

just as a reminder to all, the real Quileute tribe was not consulted whatsoever on the twilight series and had a lot of their culture just fully lied about & made up, which is not a remotely harmless act. you should donate to fund their cultural preservation and moving of vital centers out of tsunami zones! i try to throw in a few bucks any time i watch any twilight related media.

i hate how many posts about trans women deserving respect always devolve into "I love girldick" or "trans rights but I don't want to date a trans person" because that's entirely unrelated to the topic at hand. you should not respond to feminism with "YESSS I loveeee you because I see you as nothing but a sex object" you people sound like other men I get stuck talking with that end up saying "free the nipple so I can see boobies in public" and thinking they're feminists. why can't we just respect women regardless of your attraction to them or not. why does it need to be brought up in every conversation regarding their rights

the american south is the most racially diverse and poorest region of the united states, and any political sentiment that treats the south is stupid or expendable is inherently racist and classist. a lot of y'all are racist and classist. the south is also the heart of american culture. argue with a wall. you cannot deny that everybody in the entire world does not emulate artists from atlanta. there is vested interest in keeping the south poor and uneducated BECAUSE this is the most racially diverse region in this country. if you actually give a fuck about progress, you would fight for the south, not mock us.
