anesthesia is so stupid because you expect to slowly drift to sleep, everything fading to black n stuff, but no. it’s like instant one second ur lying on the table eyes open staring at the guy about to cut you open and the next you’re in a random hospital bed feeling heavy as fuck and having no clue how much time has passed. even the wake up is strange. I had to pull myself up with my hands (while still not being able to open my eyes) three times before I could get my body to sit up, and even then it took around a minute to get my eyelids not to droop down every two seconds. And the pain you should be feeling comes back slowly and then starts hitting like a truck and you feel gross in hospital clothes and wires sticking into you and you really want to go home. but it will be okay because there are saltines and jello for eating and jello make everything better

whumpee has a fever and is too sick to eat — entirely their own fault. whumper needs to teach them a lesson to be grateful for what they’re given. force feed them food, any food, (bonus if it’s hot/hard to consume quickly) and when they eventually gag and throw it back up, have them eat it all over again. whumpee shouldn’t be so wasteful as to vomit their precious meal, so it makes perfect sense that they need to finish all of it even if it’s the puddle of sick on the table of their own making. don’t stop until they’re finished with their “food” entirely, and for whumper’s kindness in giving them something to eat, they deserve a thank you — or whatever whumpee can manage before passing out and falling sideways out of their chair onto the hard kitchen floor.
