Many of the same people who say you can't live here for less than $100k are also opposed to increasing minimum wage, because they see everyone else as the underclass that gets turned into glue

Yes cost of living is really bad but it's like just straight up not true that "there's just no way to live on less than 100k a year !!!" and when u pretend that's true you're just being extremely insulting to the many many people who live on much much less because you cannot fathom what our lives are like

You have to find a way to talk about how everyone deserves to have enough money to be alive without alienating and implicitly excluding a huge chunk of people from the conversation by setting your lowest possible income floor at like. 50k a year salaried job. Your idea of horrifying unimaginable unliveable poverty is a fantasy to a lot of us.

Baseball isn't real and can't hurt me until this semester ends and I have time to watch games. Hockey isn't real and can't hurt me until the NHL and PWHL seasons start. So basically this fall is gonna suck the whole way through
