Recently I got a hyperfixation on Glass Animals’s older music and listened to Psylla a total of over 100 times while making an animatic of Parabalis AND ITS SEQUEL to almost completely nonsensical lyrics in a new drawing style. So here.

Honestly I’m proud of myself for the fact that I even made an animatic upwards one minute long. I don’t draw at all and the fact that I made all of this without reference and also in a new banger style I’m fucking with brings me great joy.

By relying on generated images stolen from humans even for concept and not the final phase, you are admitting that you lack the component necessary to be human. Everyone holds the ability to create art. Abstract art as a whole exist to say that art is subjective and isn't one genre or another. It doesn't have to be hyperrealistic or sharp or clean, it can be whatever the human desires. Art doesn't have to be perfect and it doesn't always have to make you happy, but it is an innate human want to create art. It is a want that other life forms share, but it is embedded into the human mind. Some people simply chose to focus on it more and put in the effort to develop that skill.

Artificially generating images from art is the admission that you believe you are subhuman. It is the surrender to the idea thay you cannot be completely human. Regardless of your disability, you are still able to create art even if it's in the mind or what you see or even how you move or talk is all art. Sharing art doesn't require generations either. Some have art in their head but either don't want to share it or are not able to share it. You do not need a generative tool to share it.

Many may claims people who create art are too expensive, though you will be surprised at how many artists tend to undercharge. There may be an artist within your family or a friend. This is not an argument that art should be cheaper and this is not a defense of artist who badly undercharge or are manipulated into undercharging, it's really the later. Sharing art requires self confidence. Depending on the type of art you create, you would want to start learning skills in order to be able to emulate the art you create in your mind more. Though it requires skill. That's why artists charge money, because skill takes time and time is limited.

Artists are not overlord, mighty, rich higher up people, they're the complete opposite. They're often underpaid or don't earn enough at all. Many artists are facing eviction or searching endlessly for a job. By arguing that AI is somehow a movement against "greedy artists", you are instead actually just taking food from the hungry. You are essentially taking away money from the homeless. You are beating a dead horse, something that cannot even fight back. You are advocating for art to be a controlled medium to your liking but art isn't that way. Art is something everyone shares.

Artifical Intelligence holds no place in art as anyone is able to create art because they're a human. If you're a human, you can create art. Needing a machine is the submission to the idea you're inferior when that is never true. You are never inferior, you are human.

Get upset, throw my words across a stadium, say that I am overreacting all you wish. You will never be able to change what's true, even if you mask it. You can only change how the truth is seen, but you can never change the actual truth.

I often talk about reality checking and going along with it when helping someone deal with delusions, but I felt as if I didn’t really make it clear to what I meant when I said it.

Recently I saw a post similar to “how to sneakily give your delusional friend a reality check when they told you not to” and honestly, that’ll just make us lose trust for you. Because we can tell when you do that.
