every other week, my mom would make a giant pot of vegetable soup. she'd pack half of it in a tupperware and take it to her best friend's house. they both had three kids whose ages aligned. they'd lock us out of the house and go through each room, finding every piece of dirty laundry and then spend the afternoon keeping the washer and dryer running, folding and putting away each load while gossiping.
every alternate week, her best friend would come to our house with a tupperware full of chicken spaghetti. they'd stick us in front of a tv with a stack of disney vhs tapes and go through each room, finding every dirty dish, and then spend the afternoon at the kitchen sink, washing each dish by hand while gossiping.
it wasn't always soup and spaghetti and laundry and dishes. but it was almost always a meal and a chore. here is a night you don't have to cook dinner. here is a chore you can cross off your list. and here is a day you don't have to spend alone. because really food and friendship and a feeling of accomplishment are what we all need most.
You know your drunk art post about love and personhood from 2019? Every night at bedtime my late cat would lie on my chest, and her little heartbeat would be right on top of mine, and I'd think about that piece of art you made, and have a similar sort of image in my head. Anyway, yesterday I finally put the image to paper, and idk where this is going, just that that piece of art you created means a lot to me. Have a cool day āļø

Long story short this is an AU where flowers represent monstersā emotions/soul/life force lmao so yeah compliment them and they just burst with flowers everywhere. Itās the best reaction tbh :āD
Sans has periwinkles and Papyrus has begonias! (Regular UT verse Sans has forget me nots and Paps has zinnias hehe)

I want a horror musical. Not a meta horror where the inherent horror is being trapped in a musical Truman-Show style and being forced to belt out into song(Though that would be really cool and I wanna be in it please), but a horror story...that's also a musical. The story is told through spontaneous singing every 5 minutes. The songs are never acknowledged, as is standard musical logic, and they aren't played for laughs, they're taken straight. They're poppy and preppy and sound really light-hearted for the subject matter. The deaths are still graphic and gory. The horror monster gets their own villain song a la the Disney villains of old. The couple gets a duet and one of them gets killed in the middle of it. The final girl sings a somber reprise of the cliche opening song when she finally escapes.
A horror story. That's also. A musical.
my little cousin confidently declared that mother nature had a counterpart named daddy electric and i feel like this concept needs to be explored
Daddy Electric and Mother Nature sounds like a cute 70s act
Favorite thing about the Red Note shenanigans: Mongolian ranchers suddenly gaining a rabid following of American horse girls and being like "we knew you had cowboys but we didn't know you value and love horses as friends like we do, this is excellent"
Mongolian rancher š¤ American horse girl synergy I guess
My gosh.
This sounds heavenly
this is so not what i expected at all. it's like a cheesy 80s movie love scene soundtrack, but also...good.
