Doctors are to black women what police officers are to black men. That may seem controversial but I believe it to be true and I speak from personal experience.

If you've seen this TikTok you know that a 2016 study showed that 50% of medical students and residents thought that black people couldn't feel pain the same as white people.

And we learned from this video that because of a 1999 study, to this day, there's a black correction factor for the creatinin levels in black people's kidneys, meaning we're less likely to recieve a kidney transplant if needed.

So if you go to a doctor, feel you aren't getting proper treatment or they refuse the treatment you've requested, say to them the following:

I will need you to document on record that you are refusing the treatment (or medicine) I've requested, and the reason you are doing so."

Every black woman who speaks out about anything gets bashed by a plethora of black men and black women too and I’m at this point done. When Trey was tryna get Meg all drunk and was all over her it was, “Well she likes to drive the boat what did you expect?” Keke Palmer said Trey was coercive when tryna get her in a music video at his party and y’all said “it’s the industry she’s a boost” These two white girls came out about Trey holding their phone and purse hostage and peeing on them and now y’all want to listen although there’s still people saying, “I mean they hoes how you mad at how a hoe is treated?” I’m absolutely disgusted. This is why no one can speak y’all are fucking gross people. I want nothing to do with it. The same way BLM has highlighted that black people can’t breathe, cash a check, sleep at home, be different, etc or cops will kill them. This is how women feel. We can’t be under the influence, can’t wear clothes we like, can’t flirt or be nice, can’t be self expressive, can’t be at a party, can’t take an Uber, etc and I’m tired of black men’s hypocrisy. If you dare come at me about banning straws, I will throw you into the sun cannon. I’m disabled, I’m crippled, I need disposable plastic straws, and all those pricey ridiculous alternatives aren’t working as well. Plastic straws were invented for the disabled.

Way to shit all over a vital access need because you think straws are worse than corporate greed.

We all care about the turtles, the seals, the oceans, obviously. Notice how the easiest thing to yell about was something that would barely affect anything but appealed heavily to emotional discourse.

The disabled community is huge, and it can be joined by anyone. Most of those As Seen On TV products were invented for us. Society still mocks us and ignores us, and often outright harms us in multiple ways.

Communicate better. Listen better. But stop putting us out in the cold because you are inconvenienced by our simplest needs.
