What is peak sleepover if not letting your cousin cut your hair with fabric scissors at midnight
Totally didn’t do this with my cousin like 3 nights ago or anything
christmas eve what about christmas adam
happy christmas adam to all men’s rights activists
Please stop pestering us with things like this. This has nothing to do with men fighting for their rights. Eve is short for ‘evening’. Please don’t turn activism into a joke. Thanks.
Someone isn’t having a good christmas adam
Christmas Adam: December 23rd. Comes before Christmas Eve and is generally unsatisfying.

Twilight
By: Stephenie Meyer
• THE HOBBIT •
Author: J.R.R Tolkien
Genre: Fantasy, adventure
Synopsis:
The Hobbit is set in Middle-earth and follows home-loving Bilbo Baggins, who joins the wizard Gandalf and the thirteen dwarves of Thorin's Company, on a quest to reclaim the dwarves' home and treasure from the dragon Smaug. Bilbo's journey takes him from his peaceful, comfortable hobbit home and his many breakfasts, to a string of places where comfort and breakfast is few and far between. He learns things he never expected of himself and the world as he becomes the companion of the 13 dwarves.
My review:
This book was so much FUN!! I remember trying to read it when I was younger and it never interested me, but this second time through I realized how wonderful of a book this is. If you are looking for a fantasy book that is faced paced on every single page, this is the book for you. Tolkien quite literally never slowed down this story and every page and chapter has something new happening on it.
Although there are a large amount of characters in such a short book, none of the characters are lacking! In fact, each of the dwarves has their own personality that is easy to pick out from a long the others. This made the book so enjoyable. To get to see the characters development and relationships that Bilbo had with each of his friends was really cool.
Seeing the development in Bible was also fun. Throughout the book, events happen that cause him to be braver and more cunning and to accomplish things that as the reader, you wouldn’t think him capable of.
Despite the quickness of this story, Tolkien somehow still did so much world building in a way that wasn’t boring at all. He a few words here and there, he was able to create a whole world in his pages in a unique way for the time these books were written.

• The Teacher •
Author: Freida McFadden
Genre: Thriller, Mystery
Tropes: Affairs, forbidden love, teacher x student, revenge
TW: pedophilia, underage relationships, murder
When I first started this book, I had NO idea what it was truly going to be about. I thought that Frieda had just written another fast paced thriller that involved a school and decided to give it a try…
Synopsis:
Eve is a teacher whose life seems to be perfect. She has the perfect looking husband who does all the perfect things and is, like her, a teacher as well. She always wears the nicest shoes, has the perfect house and checks every box. But in reality, she and her husband rarely interact. They kiss on cues and plan out any intimacy months in advance. Her shoes are bought on credit cards her husband doesn’t always know of. They certainly don’t enjoy teaching at the same school together, and they harbor many secrets from their spouse.
At the start of a new school year, Eve and her husband Nathaniel both get a student placed in their classes: Addie Severson. In the previous school year, substantial rumors of Addie had caused a well established teacher in the school to lose his job. Neither Eve or Nathaniel were looking forward to Addie being their students, however as the years progressed, Eve and her husband had formed very different opinions on the girl, and perhaps neither of them expected how severely those opinions would change their lives.
My thoughts:
Overall, I really enjoyed this book. It got me straight out of a slump! I was hooked from the first page. Although some of the plot was a little hard to digest sometimes because of the content, it made sense why those things were happening and it wasn’t without reason.
This book had twists that I never could have expected, which is always a fun feeling! However, some of the twists did feel a bit “out there” in their reasoning and didn’t make the most sense. But if you’re able to look past those minor details, this was a very fun read. I would be very interested to read more of Freida McFadden books. She has a quick paced writing style, and knows how to keep you interested.

I think people misunderstand "x fell first, y fell harder " trope because it's not about like the one who fell harder loves the other person harder. It's just that the one who fell first falls in a graceful way, one step at the time, maybe gradually over a span of time. The one who fell harder smashes trough the air, there's blood everywhere, everything is fine-
