13 YEAR OLD GIRL WASN’T THE FIRST: OFFICER BEN FIELDS HAS A HISTORY OF TARGETING AND VIOLENTLY ATTACKING MOSTLY BLACK PEOPLE FOR MINOR INFRACTIONS

Students have known about this violent cop, Ben Fields, for years. And if the students knew, then the teachers knew. And unsurprisingly, this school has a high student population of black kids (such violence towards students wouldn’t be tolerated at a posh white school). Cops with histories of violence shouldn’t be allowed to remain cops.

And this seems like a good time to remind everyone that black girls are disproportionately the most targeted group for suspensions and school discipline. Period.
