No, today is not a Jewish holiday.
Enty’s yachting podcast
I listened to Enty’s podcast about the world of yachting and I want to share with those who don’t subscribe. I was going to transcribe word for word, but I think that would take me all night, so I’ll do the highlights. I have to say, on a sidenote, that Enty’s voice is incredibly sexy 😁 I wish he wasn’t so mysterious, but maybe that’s part of his charm hehee Anyway…..
- Right off the bat he says, I’m going to talk to you about how to recognize who the actresses, models and reality stars are who yacht. In fact, it’s incredibly easy (he lowers his voice) and says “hashtag Meghan Markle” LOL!
- He starts by explaining how actresses don’t see themselves as prostitutes. That if a teacher were to need extra money and she slept with someone for extra cash, that she would still call herself a teacher. So, that’s kind of the way an actress or model views it.
- He begins talking about how yachting goes way back. Kabuki dancers would sometimes “entertain” men after their shows. Also, hundreds of years ago, around the Ming Dynasty, powerful, rich men would hire entire acting or dance troops to put on shows for them. Part of what went along with that, was they were also expected to sleep with them.
- He says that prostitutes work to have a certain appeal to men who hire them, but actresses or models already have that appeal and don’t need to work for it.
- He explains that a person like Meghan Markle would do yachting to pay rent as she was a Deal or No Deal girl with no money, but he says, for example, Hayden Panettiere is popular and highly desired and has a fan base, so she would attract a higher price. Someone like Meghan Markle, when she was on Deal or No Deal, not on the national stage, she would have to concentrate locally.
- There was an actress in the 17th century named Nell Gwyn. He says laughingly, that’s kind of a meghan markle thing, she had a patron named King Charles II. He picked her because he wanted to see if he could get an actress and he did. She bore him two sons, they were given a ton of land and the title of Lord. So, he says, that was kind of a quick come up of what a woman could expect in the 17th century as an actress.
- He says, I’m not going to spend the entire time talking about the history of yachting, so fast forward to the 20th century and you had an actress named Grace Kelly (I’m so sad he says her name with yachting 😞) who had a patron, he stops and says, yes Grace Kelly was a yachter, a very, very frequent one, her patron was King Rainier. She basically set the bar for everyone to come. King Rainier wasn’t straight up paying her $300 an hour for her services, it was more subtle, that’s what yachting is, he says, it was more, hey come spend time with me, we’ll go out get you some jewelry, go out to dinners and hey, I know you can’t work this week, so here’s $20,000.
- He starts to talk about Bani, the celebrity sex broker. You’d be surprised at how many managers and handlers know him and how many shell companies there are that are set up exclusively for the purpose of putting celebrities together with patrons just to make it look like they’re working, he says.
Three years ago, Enty was contacted by Bani’s people. Bani had seen Enty on a show called, Secret Societies of Hollywood and wanted to meet him. Bani is backed by 2 middle eastern royal families and he runs the day to day logistics. Enty went to meet him at a very exclusive hotel. Bani’s bodyguard, Ravi, a navy seal, patted Enty down upon entering the suite. He says he’s pretty sure with that pat down that Ravi can tell whether he’s circumcised or not (LOL) In this meeting, Bani showed him a long list of names of those who’ve done yachting. The names go back about 4 decades. He says a lot of the names are very surprising.
- During his talk and subsequent talks with Bani, he told him there are receipts for these transactions, be it photos or a written record, that tied a certain celebrity to him as a sex broker.
- Bani gave him 500 names during that first meeting three years ago and since has given him 500 more.
- He talks about a few names he saw on the list.
Pippa!!! (Noooooo! I’m so sad he said Pippa 😞) **see end of post
- Oh god, no. He said Princess Diana. At this point, I don’t even want to post this on Tumblr 😞 **see end of post
- Bani said the backers he works for go all the way back to Grace Kelley. That these rich, powerful men wanted to be seen with or known to be with, someone like Grace Kelley, a popular actress. **see end of post
- He explains for the backers, it was like a competition to see who could get the bigger star and if they could, they must be more wealthy to be able to afford a certain actress.
- He starts talking about the Canne Film Festival. He says, if you look at the people on the red carpet and see someone who doesn’t belong there, ie: Farrah Abraham (from Teen Mom) you know they are there yachting.
- In Canne, they’ll have these spinoff awards shows, like the Golden Lion awards for example. Well, those are just a cover for these meetings (about yachting, setting people up ect.) These backers will invent award shows as a cover.
- Bani had two tables at the Golden globes. Why is he there? To get the assistants to some of the big buyers and players to get a look at many of the women in the flesh.
- These assistants basically go to the Golden Globes and SAG awards. They wouldn’t go to the Academy Awards because it’s mostly A listers and A listers are making 20 million a movie, a deal with them wouldn’t be as likely as actresses making less. They mostly go after B list celebrities.
- So many British reality show stars do yachting
** Ok, so that was the end of part 1. I’ve followed and read Enty since the beginning and was very disappointed to hear him say Grace Kelley, Princess Diana and Pippa Middleton’s names in talking about yachting. I was thinking last night, I don’t trust him anymore, but in writing this out, I remembered he said he got those names from Bani. Maybe Bani was trying to be shocking or show off and added those names to his list? Enty even said he was shocked.
There’s a part 2 that’s up, I just haven’t listened yet. I was originally posting, like I did last podcast, because he talks about mm. As you read, he didn’t really talk about her, so if anyone is interested in part 2, let me know and I’ll post something.
I tend to use too many commas, so I’m sorry if this was a hard read because of my overuse of them lol
@gatorfisch etc reposted this of course.
Putting my conspiracy theory hat on :-) Nothing convinces me more that CDAN is a right wing (possibly Russian) troll than this. Why? Well, the most politically active up and coming left wing group across the world are younger women. From a right wing point of view they are the people to attack. They have to be a target if the current order is to be maintained or if you think the Russians are involved then how deeper divisions in Western society can be created.
So, in order to sow division, they look at advertising and social media. They know even intelligent women can be shamed into anorexia etc so they look for spaces where women congregate and use push techniques to divide. Now, unfortunately one of those spaces woman still haven’t grown out of in their journey to equality are gossip columns and here’s where CDAN and other gossip sites come in.
Women, particularly left wing women or women in control of their own sexuality become targets. They have to be made to look evil, wrong, immoral etc.
Now, all relationships, be it giving your time to chat to someone at a bus stop or making a life long commitment to another person, are negotiations. We do something, we get something in return. As long as it isn’t coerced tthis isn’t a problem.
But you have to make it look as if these women are doing something immoral, when objectively, of course, they aren’t. They are people in control of their own desires, sexuality and negotiations. The tactics become those of slut shaming, new Puritanism, endless blinds about young women acting up or doing wrong, the words shocked etc - the same message right-wing men and their allies have been pushing for hundreds of years.
Insecure men (and advertising etc is focused on making them insecure) think if every relationship is a transaction then the woman could just be tricking us and our relationship isn’t ‘real’. Which is a stupid way of thinking about the give and take of life. Women are told from an early age that only a certain type of behaviour is acceptable and even if you reject this there is a constant drip of reinforcing advertising and comment from both men and right of centre women. A woman who is liberated is good but a woman who choose to use that liberation to break the rules of society isn’t. That constant drip feeds doubt and division.
Honestly, giving up reading gossip columns is by far the best thing young women can do if they want to create solidarity.
Oh, and what about the gossip columns support for the MeToo campaign - and most have mentioned it. Yes a few men are being sacrificed but it’s also being done in a way to divide and demonise the left e.g. pics of Obama with Weinstein when there are also pics of Trump with Weinstein that don’t get widely circulated. And there’s also the subtle implication that women are either easily led/responsible for the assaults and rapes on them or are supporting abusers by having sex to get something in return by their own choice.
Oh and LOL at the Golden Lion Awards being a ‘spin-off’
It’s the same old thing, when you’re jealous of a woman, you automaticaly call her a whore or a slut. Some people can’t get over the fact that prince Harry feel in love and married a divorced American actress who happens to be bi-racial. Not that the escort accusations wouldn’t fly around if he married a white skin, blond hair, blue eyed woman. As for Enty, he has zero credibiltiy. If their was any truth to what he was saying, you can bet your house Harry wouldn’t have been allowed to marry her.
Enty is definitely a Russian stooge. In addition to all the misogynistic bullshit he writes, in general his blinds attack and demonise any celebs who are left-wing and vocally critical of Trump.
Fuck anyone who supports his garbage.
I’ve worked in the entertainment industry in London for 20 years, and I’ve seen Enty publish some absolute 100% made up total fanfiction about close friends of mine before. Literally no one in the industry takes it seriously.
Even if he is real, and really does have industry connections, there’s no way that he could know every single thing that happens in every bathroom, bedroom, therapist’s office all over the entire world. Yet somehow he knows enough to be able to generate dozens of the most florid gossip items every day, and knows what every celebrity across three continents is doing more or less in real time. If someone takes a shit in a bathroom in Shanghai, he knows about it instantly! If someone sits down in their house in London and considers leaving their spouse, he knows about it! I mean come on, this is basic logic. Half the stuff he posts is stuff everyone knows, and the other half is stuff no one could know without being psychic.
Just an experiment. Reblog if you actually give a fuck about male victims of domestic violence and rape.
Of fucking course
What sick bastard doesn’t
“You’d be surprised”, said Xaldien, who just lost four followers and received a lovely “men can’t be raped” anon shortly after reblogging this the first time.
Yowch, disgusting.
If I don’t reblog this, assume I’m dead.
today in ‘i wasn’t actually expecting this, but i really should have expected this’: i do a lot of visa application invites for people for work, and the passport first page for just about every country i’ve seen has clear, black text printed on light/white background with maybe some simple pastel-coloured designs. and for the first almost-three-decades of my life, i was happy in the naive belief that all passports around the world were similar; that one day all countries of the world gathered in Geneva or wherever and formed a Passport Design Committee where they all agreed on the general aesthetics for passports worldwide.
then, about two weeks back, i saw an american passport for the first time, and it straight up has a giant-ass flag, an eagle, a fucking ear of corn, and the first line of the constitution on it, the text is on glaring multicoloured backdrop, and while i was caught off-guard by it, it is also completely in line with its country of origin, and also i feel like this tells me everything i need to know about america as a nation.
@languagecrazy @misacoh
for anyone wondering if it’s really that bad
things i have learned since this post:
-the most typical reaction for non-Americans when seeing an American passport for the first time is to google for credibility, because someone is clearly taking the piss.
- IT’S WHEAT!!!!!! NOT CORN!!!!!!!!!!!! and Americans are really particular about what you call their Freedom Grain (for the record: in US English, corn refers particularly to one specific grain, i.e. maize, whereas in other Englishes it can mean “any type of grain”. I use one of the many other Englishes on the planet)
-many americans were to not ready to learn that other countries’ passports are actually, like legible, so for comparison here’s a bunch of random examples that i found via google. these are all example/invalid passports
just top of the border, the canadian one:
the brazilian one:
the chinese one, and I’m pretty sure that blurb has copied the American one, sorry ‘bout that:
the british one, in which the bottom left corner kind of has that mid-00′s bedroom wall decal aesthetic going on:
so there you all are.
The front page of passports around the world are generally designed for easy identification and legibility instead of PATRIOTISM - thus, pale, pastel designs on light background. That doesn’t mean that a passport’s design can’t be fun - both the Canadian and Norwegian ones are having a party under blacklight, the Finnish one has an animated moose, and those are just the ones i know of.
It’s just that the American passport is really uniquely Like That.
Also, there are new designs for US Passports in the works, apparently. Fingers crossed about what it’ll look like.
I’m reblogging this only for the links in the last bit. I had no idea that the Canadian passport had hidden black light pictures! I need to find a black light so I can check my passport!
British passports have seagulls on them, which is hilarious. They aren’t really accurate though because the seagull isn’t dive bombing someone wearing an anorak to steal their chips.
Reblog if you're gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual, transgender or a supporter.
This should be reblogged by everyone. Even if you’re straight, you should be a supporter.

Aeltri is not a white American though. She may use the N word repeatedly throughout the day and it would not be necessarily racist because SHE'S NOT AMERICAN, whatever Americans did their story is not the story of the world and their standards are not the world standards. There's enough shit on her blog to crucify her, why make stupid unreal accusations?
Speaking of stupid unreal accusations, I NEVER SAID AELTRI USED THE N-WORD. I was simply making a rhetorical comparison to describe the impossibility of Aeltri not knowing what the 3 parentheses symbol means since her blog is full of antisemitic posts. Go back and read what I said. I would also suggest you read the many responses people have made to your first ask, especially the ones from people who don’t live in the U.S.
1: The N-word is a slur no matter what part of the world do you come from, period. It has no other meaning than being a racist slur. It is exclusively up to black people, and them alone, whether they want to reclaim and use the word.
2: Your xenophobia is showing, anon. Aeltri may be a latina, but she’s very much an American. The fact that you assume she’s not a citizen of the US because of her ethnicity is very problematic. Latinos can’t use the N-word, unless they’re black themselves. Aeltri is a white latina. Because latinxs can come in every race, something you would know if you read a book or two.
3: missed me with your history bullshit. Racism isn’t exclusively an American thing. It was the Brits, the Portuguese, and the Spaniards who controlled the slave trade routes. Racism, Islamophobia and anti-semitism are very much rampant in Europe and all around the globe, which is why we’re having fascists getting into power or uncomfortably close to it in places like Italy, Hungary, Poland, France, Austria, etc
What follows will be unpopular, please don’t demonise me.
1. The N-word is a slur if and only if you speak English and live in a racist place, my friend. In my country we’ve never referred to black people as anything other than black people. Black people in Latin America have a radically different history than black people in the U.S, English and your biases are definitely not universal. Sorry.
2. Wasn’t Aeltri raised in Uruguay? Whatever her citizenship status or the colour of her skin, isn’t the fact that she’s from a different cultural background what matters to this argument? After all, Europe has accepted Islamic anti-Semitism because of the cultural differences. Don’t agree with either of it but I can honestly see where this anon has a point. The American and British obsession with the colour of people’s skin is baffling to most Latin Americans, and just the fact that you have to use Latinxs is sooo American it beggars belief, the cultural divide between, for instance, Chilean people and Peruvian people is gigantic! American Xenophobia shows when you try to group us all under the Latinx banner. And BTW, Latinos CAN use the N-word, we really can because the cultural history behind the word is radically different, we speak Spanish for starters and the word for black is “negro” so… Yeah, we can use the bloody word.
3. Again: the American & European experience is NOT the world-wide experience. My country has little history of anti-Semitism and no history of Islamophobia, it’s classist, not racist. And really I would love to discuss why the European situation is what it is but I honestly don’t think we should get into that in a post where through your leftist, ignorant crap you made me defend Aeltri. Seriously, guys, we’re better than using these serious accusations in such a fucking petty way.
4. I just found out about the parentheses thing and when I asked one of my Jewish friends she told me she had no idea either, so I honestly don’t see how we can say that it’s a universal thing. Listen, we really don’t need to brand Aeltri as a racist or anti-Semite to discredit her, she does that well enough on her own.
As to why I’m defending this shit? I don’t know man, I just don’t think we should throw those accusations lightly. I also don’t think that Aeltri is an anti-Semite, I just think she’s gullible enough to fall for the global conspiracy shit, no actual hate for the actual religion. And she hates Israel, fine, that can be construed from an antisemitic point of view but not necessarily (ok, fine, she likes Corbyn…). I don’t know, it irks me, it’s probably. Anyway, all who know me know I despise Aeltri, I’m not happy to come to the defence of a massive moron like that but hey, something about this whole discussion pushed my buttons and I agree with anon that we can crucify her over a ton of other shit.
Anyway! Have a nice day, sorry for the outburst if you wish to have a discussion do let me know, I’m reasonable. Love.
Cal.
The issue isn’t about the use of what can be euphemistically be called the n-word though. It’s about the use of triple parenthesis. Imagine someone sending an ask to your blog saying “is x teazy?” If you didn’t recognise that bit of Cornish slang you wouldn’t say yes would you, just in case it was an insult. So either aeltri is using the term knowingly or is too stupid/uncaring to even check what something means. If she doesn’t know what it means why is she agreeing? That isn’t something anyone would do normally.
@richaldis I’m not making excuses for her. I just can think of about 5 non-malicious reasons why she would agree point-blank. And yes, being stupid is one of them, being lazy is another one. That’s all.
Fair enough, But, it seemed particularly telling to me since she regularly posts very anti-Semitic comments. I’d be surprised given the people she reblogs from that she hadn’t come across this particular usage before since it’s been around for at least a couple of years. I knew about it even though it’s not really used in the UK and I neither follow anti-Semitic blogs nor pro-Jewish ones where it might be discussed.
I guess what I’m saying is that you could put this down to ignorance or laziness but she does have form in this case, it’s not an isolated comment.
She knows what the parenthesis are for, she admited it herself. Aeltri is Latina, but she was born and raised in the US, so it’s not a cultural thing in her case. The fact that she constently put links to articles from know antisemitic, far-right sites is a dead give away. As @richaldis said, it’s far from being a isolated comment. She called Oprah a house slave ffs. @skepto-weirdo-from-hell I get your point, but it doesn’t apply to Aeltri’s case. She knows what she’s doing, you don’t get 90% of your information for far-right sites unless you agree with their view. If we’re going to call anyone lazy and stupid it’s Hator. I don’t think she’s racist, but she doesn’t seem to take the time to check Aeltri’s sources.
She’s been posting alt right and antisemetic conspiracy shit for ages now. She knows exactly what ((((them)))) means.
“After all, Europe has accepted Islamic anti-Semitism because of the cultural differences. “
As a European Jew I find this statement incredibly ignorant and offensive on multiple levels.
@shredsandpatches
YES
Almeida director Rupert Goold says Anne Washburn’s new play Shipwreck will ‘wrestle with what Trump is both politically and existentially’
Alongside Shipwreck, the Almeida’s new season will include Simon Russell Beale as Richard II, directed by Joe Hill-Gibbins
@shredsandpatches what do you think of that casting?
I think it’s great! SRB is a terrific actor and his Edward II is one of those productions that people still remember like 20 years later. The only thing that disappoints me is that it’s at the Almeida so I probably won’t get to see it unless I suddenly come into a lot of money.
(That and it’s being staged alongside a Trump play and I worry they’ll go for parallels, ugh)
Joe directing RII makes my mouth water though. You know he’s going to completely fuck with it and probably make it 500% gayer that it already is.
My god this is breath taking. If you saw it in an art gallery you wouldn’t blink.
Here is your daily dose of stupid, courtesy of @jazziesb:
It is amazing that the press would sit on a story that could bring them millions, isn’t it? I mean, this happens all the time after all *insert massive eye roll*. How can JazzieBS stay something like and not realize what’s wrong with it. I mean, we’re dealing with a woman in her late forties here. Not that it shows. The haters narrative have plot holes bigger than the Grand Canyon and they fail to see it everytime. And the comment Ben said about Jonny Lee Miller was a joke ffs.
Just think if you were the reporter, gossip columnist or photographer with this story. Of course you’d choose to run multiple articles about planning permission and haircuts rather than this.
And if you were a poverty stricken member of Equity who knew the story of course you’d keep it to yourself and never even mention it on industry specific gossip sites or in company. Everyone would.
My friend who has met Sophie and the boys more than once is a member of Equity. She’s at work right now filming for an upcoming TV series (a small part but she does have a number of lines before she ends up dead). Anyhow, I asked her if she’d ever heard any negative gossip about Ben or his family. She couldn’t find anything. Not surprised. I told her that, according to these people, she’s getting paid to keep quiet about hearing this negative stuff she’s never heard. She’s waiting for her money now.
I’m a poverty-stricken member of Equity and I could offer many gossip stories about Ben in exchange for ££££.
Please pick between:
That time Ben fell over.
That other time Ben fell over.
That time Ben tripped over.
That time Ben got confused while paraphrasing Shakespeare and ended up sounding like Joey writing Monica and Chandler’s adoption letter.
Yet more falling over.
Height is a really strange thing. Almost comical. Remember that whole debate about how tall Tom Hiddleston and BC were? Some pictures made them look 1 inch apart, but another made Tom a whole head taller than B. I still don't know if it was their posture, their shoes, or the angles, but seeing the haters get so worked up over that gave me a laugh
Yeah, well, the haters are ALWAYS going on about something - doesn’t take very much to set them off. As far as the height of people in photos, you also have to consider the matter of perspective (foreground vs. background) which often makes objects closer to the camera appear larger than objects further away. But to the Haters all this has to be ignored because it doesn’t reinforce their obsessive hatred of Sophie. And that’s all that counts to them.
Don’t forget things like shoes and boots. Wear something with more than a bit of a heel on it can make a difference!
This merely reinforces my view that these people are all stupid. The position you’re standing in makes a difference too as well as what you have on your feet and perspective.
I literally have no memory of the rest of the discussion anymore but this one time in a theatre class I made a reference to “Shakespeare’s bad plays” and this girl just interrupted me very loudly saying, “Did you say Shakespeare’s BAD plays?????” and looked at me like I had just told her I eat puppies for breakfast
And I was just sitting there going, “…have you read Two Gentlemen of Verona…?” Like I know for a fact I am 1000x times more invested in Shakespeare than this girl has ever been, I have no idea why she found that statement so wildly absurd, but to this day her complete disbelieving indignation that I would say Shakespeare had written something bad is fucking hilarious to me
Okay, I’m so curious now…
Reblog with your least favorite Shakespeare play
@skeleton-richard @ardenrosegarden @malvoliowithin @shredsandpatches @tollers-and-jack @dragonarchaeologist @schmergo @flappyfluellen @irrelevantlyvalid @oldshrewsburyian
Mine is Henry VIII
The Tempest.
Boring as heck.
(Doesn’t help that the version I’ve seen is Prospero’s Books)
Hamlet. I find the title character insufferably annoying and unlikable.
That alone probably wouldn’t do it for me, but it’s also EVERYWHERE in the fandom so it’s become one of the things where “this would ordinarily bug me only slightly but I see it so often that it’s become loathsome”
Two Gents is probably Shakespeare’s weakest play, although it has its good points (the two female leads are both great parts, so it should really be called The Two Awesome Ladies of Verona and Milan and Their Questionable Taste in Men) and you can get around some of the gross aspects of the ending if you stage it carefully. The RSC’s production from a few years back was pretty decent.
Probably my least favorite Shakespeare play, though, is Julius Caesar, even though I know it is an objectively good play that I feel like I SHOULD like more! I would say that it’s because Brutus reminds me of an ex of mine but I didn’t like the play much before I met him either. I will admit though that I have enjoyed it in performance and that the last couple of productions I have seen have both handled the character well by not making him square-jawedly noble – one of them cast a fairly young actor which made his impractical idealism feel believable rather than just stubborn, and the other one just went “yeah, he is stubborn and self-righteous and that’s what brings him down even though his intentions are pretty good” and that worked even better.
Honestly though I can’t think of a Shakespeare play I wouldn’t go see just on the grounds that I don’t like the play. I might skip a Shakespeare play because it’s done by a company that never does it well, or because there’s a chance to see one I like better, but I’m willing to give any play a shot in performance.
I must have seen at least a dozen productions of Julius Caesar and I don’t hate it, but my brain just completely switches off. It’s like when you meet someone for the first time and your brain instantly forgets their name. Whenever I see a production of Julius Caesar my brain just goes: “Blah blah blah blah blah STABBY STABBY blah blah blah blah.”
