‘The Visitor’

A cute story I wrote about an ancient eldritch being visiting earth and falling in love with a sweet farm boy <3

Also there are more people on the ballot than just the president. When you stay home, you’re also skipping out on votes for House, Senate, State legislatures, judges, and others, all of whom are also hugely important and influential.

Maybe Biden won’t be that great. But he’s bound to have a better cabinet than this one.

i vote that once a country becomes quarantine literally any outfit becomes fair game. if you have to leave your house, do it in a cloak, cape, leather jacket, full suit of armor. it’s pandemic time and i for one believe pandemic time deserves a Look. I want people to study this moment not only for history but for fashion.

if biden wins the nomination it is not the end of the world. we just focus on getting him in office and getting more progressive senators and reps in office so the things we want done will still get done. we need to up the energy instead of letting it slide away. we CANNOT give up!!!! the lack of enthusiasm for hillary is how we lost last time. we may not be happy about biden but fake it til u make it u know?

Five years ago we were happily swapping around Biden memes. He is not as progressive as we’d like, but he’s not going to block progressive laws coming out of Congress. Focus on keeping the house and flipping the Senate, and Biden will support the changes we need, even if he won’t be spearheading them.

There’s talk that Kansas might be flipped - Bollier looks like a reasonable option.

A robot that gets into an editing war on Wikipedia because this other person is wrong and not citing sources and clearly biased and no it will do that calculations later because this is important.

A robot who doesn’t like one scientist because it thinks her hair is stupid.

A robot that finds logical paradoxes meant to disable it incredibly funny as if they’re jokes and comes up with its own.

A robot that develops a deep interest with a random trivial object like doorbells, dice, or ribbons and devotes a lot of its processing power to studying them. Fascinating.

A robot that was broken down for a while until some animal nested inside it and after it was repaired it was honored that an organic creature chose it as its shelter.

A robot that likes the class of the human-visible electromagnetic spectrum designated as ‘aquamarine’ (#66CDAA) and surrounds itself with this colour as much as possible, even collecting (or stealing) all objects of this colour. Similar colours like sea blue or teal will not be accepted.
