These are my babies, Bubblegum and Marceline. They’re only a year old but on Friday, Bubbles was diagnosed with intestinal cancer - very rare for rats. She’s doing well on pain medication, but the time has come to begin the process of getting Marcie a new companion, as rats cannot live alone. It breaks my heart to begin planning this early but I’ve got to think of Marcie.
The vet bills and process of adopting a new rat (instead of buying from a pet store) is costly. The nearest rat rescue with girls is nearly 75 miles away, and my housemate has agreed to drive me there but I need to help pay for petrol. I need £300 to fund all of this, so I’m reminding everybody that commissions are always open! I also have a website and an art blog you can check out for more examples of my art.
